The 16th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is alive and kicking. A total of 23 matches have been played in IPL 2023 and the franchises involved have provided immense entertainment to their loyal supporters. After 17 days of action in the cash-rich tournament, all teams are gearing up for the business end of the competition. Last year's runners-up Rajasthan Royals (RR) have consolidated their position at the top of the points table after a fantastic win over Gujarat Titans (GT).

In Sunday's afternoon game, Mumbai Indians registered a five-wicket win over Kolkata Knight Riders as Venkatesh Iyer's century went in vain. When it comes to the race for Orange Cap, Venkatesh dethroned Shikhar Dhawan while Shubman Gill stormed into the top five after another decent display with the bat.
