The Chennai Super Kings (CSK) secured their place in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 playoffs with a win over the Delhi Capitals (DC) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Saturday, May 20, However, a video has gone viral from after the match which has left the fans concerned.
In the video, CSK skipper MS Dhoni was spotted having a heated conversation with Ravindra Jadeja, and the all-rounder was not happy with the conversation. This continued for some time as the pair made their way back to the dressing room. But what has caught the eyes of the fans was Jadeja's cryptic tweet that sent fans into overdrive.
The reason for the disagreement is not known but Dhoni looked angry with Jadeja after the match ended when CSK were celebrating each other for the 77-run win. Many speculated on social media that it was due to Jadeja's poor spell where he went for 50 runs in four overs and took just one wicket.
Jadeja took to Twitter to share a photo with the words, "Karma will get back at you, sooner or later it surely will." The all-rounder shared the photo with the caption: “Definitely” followed by a thumbs-up emoticon.
The veteran Indian all-rounder was the worse of the bowlers on the night, with the younger trio of Tushar Deshpande, Matheesha Pathirana, and Maheesh Theekshana conceding runs at a rate of 6 runs per over.
About the game, CSK made it to their 12th playoff with their win over DC. They stand a chance of reaching their fifth IPL title this time around.
