A forced change has been made to Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 schedule. The high-voltage clash between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) has been preponed. The CSK vs LSG match which was scheduled to be played on May 4 in a double-header Thursday will now be played on Wednesday (May 3).

LSG will face Rajasthan Royals (RR) in their next encounter at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur on April 19. The winner of the encounter is likely to reach the top of the table.
CSK are currently placed third on the points table with three wins from five games. They registered an eight-run win over Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 17.
