Despite a sensational win for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) over the Delhi Capitals (DC) in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), the talking point of the encounter at the M Chinnaswamy in Bengaluru on Saturday, April 15, involving Virat Kohli and Delhi director Sourav Ganguly.

The video of the duo not shaking their hands went viral after the match and now, Kolhi's latest social media antics just after the match confirmed the same for the fans.

According to reports, Kohli has now unfollowed Ganguly on Instagram. The opener for RCB was following Ganguly but the same isn't the case after the RCB vs DC match.

In the video, the 50-year-old was seen jumping the queue after DC's head coach Ricky Ponting stopped Virat Kohli when the players of the two teams were shaking hands with each other.

It all started in 2022 when Kohli was reportedly axed as the ODI captain. He had already given up on the T20I captaincy and many were of the opinion that it was because of the then-president Sourav Ganguly that Kohli left the captaincy despite the fact that the selectors had requested Virat not to step down as the T20I skipper.

"It's a call that the BCCI and the selectors took together. Actually, the BCCI had requested Virat not to step down as the T20I skipper, but, obviously, he did not agree. And the selectors then did not feel it right to have two different captains for two white-ball formats," Ganguly said.

However, just a week before leaving for the tour of South Africa, Kohli denied all claims made by Ganguly and mentioned that no one ever had a word with him.

"There was no prior communication with me at all since I announced the T20 captaincy decision until the 8th of December. I was told that the selectors had decided that I won’t be ODI captain to which I replied, ‘Okay, fine’. There was no prior communication. That is what happened," he added.
