IPL 2022 Points Table: RR adamant on top despite loss; know where do victorious RCB stand?

A phenomenal exhibition of hitting from Dinesh Karthik and Shahbaz Ahmed helped Royal Challegers Bangalore (RCB) recover from a mini batting collapse and record a four-wicket win over Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League here Tuesday (April 5).

Chasing a target of 170, RCB lost four wickets in a space off 11 balls, they were in all sorts of trouble at 62 for four before Karthik (44 not out off 23 balls) and Ahmed (45 off 26) took the game away from the opposition with a 67-run partnership off just 33 balls.

Despite suffering the loss at the hands of RCB, Sanju Samson's RR are adamant on top of the table with four points from three games. Shreyas Iyer's Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) sit second while Gujarat Titans (GT) have grabbed third spot. KL Rahul's Punjab Kings (PBKS) are fourth, with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in fifth place.

Faf Du Plessis' RCB are sixth on the table after defeating RR while Delhi Capitals (DC) are seventh.

Mumbai Indians (MI), who are still eyeing their first victory in the IPL 2022, are on eighth position while Chennai Super Kings (CSK) are ninth and winless Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are tenth on the points table.
