6 New Zealand players who will miss T20I series against Pakistan to play in IPL 2025
The five-T20I series between New Zealand and Pakistan will be played from March 16 to March 26. The IPL 2025 will commence on March 22.

New Zealand Cricket (NZC) on March 11 announced their squad for the five-T20I series against Pakistan at home starting March 16. Michael Bracewell will lead the side. However, several players will miss the T20I series due to their IPL commitments.

New Zealand's white-ball captain Mitchell Santner will play for Mumbai Indians (MI) in the IPL 2025. The former CSK all-rounder was roped in by MI for Rs 2 crore.

New Zealand opener Devon Conway was roped back in by Chennai Super Kings (CSK). He was picked for Rs 6.25 crore by the Ruturaj Gaikwad-led side.

Lockie Ferguson missed the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 due to an injury. Ferguson was picked for his base price of Rs 2 crore. He will play under the leadership of Shreyas Iyer.

Glenn Phillips who took a few jaw-dropping catches in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will be played for Gujarat Titans (GT) in IPL 2025. Phillips' services were acquired by GT for his base price of Rs 2 crore.

ICC Champions Trophy 2025 'Player of the series', Rachin Ravindra was retained by CSK using the RTM card for Rs 4 crore. Ravindra was considered one of the steal deals in the mega auction.

Bevon Jacobs was one of the few overseas surprise picks in the mega auction. The attacking Kiwi batter will play for Hardik Pandya-led Mumbai Indians (MI). He has already joined the MI camp.
