In match eight of the ongoing Major League Cricket (MLC) between Los Angeles Knight Riders and San Francisco Unicorns, hard-hitting all-rounder Andre Russell flexed his muscles and smoked a 108-meter six that left fans inside the stadium in Dallas spellbound. The moment occurred on the first ball of the 19th over when Andre Russell crouched low and deposited Haris Rauf's slower-length delivery into the parking lot outside the stadium.
As soon as Russell's bat made the connection with the ball, there was only one direction it was traveling, and that was way outside the park. It was a clean strike, and when Russell middles the ball, it usually tends to go a long distance.

Despite Russell's late belligerence with the bat, the Knight Riders ended up losing the contest by 21 runs. The West Indian all-rounder remained unbeaten on 42 runs off 26 balls which he scored with the help of two fours and four sixes. Sunil Narine played an unbeaten cameo of 28 runs off 17 balls with the help of three sixes but even that was not enough to take the Knight Riders to the finish line. Chasing a daunting target of 213 runs, the Knight Riders scored 191/5 in 20 overs.
Earlier, Australia's Matthew Wade and Marcus Stoinis put on an exhibition of power-hitting. Wade scored 78 runs off 41 balls with the help of seven fours and five sixes while Stoinis chipped in with 37 runs off 18 balls with the help of three sixes and as many fours.
