Slower ball, pitched up outside off, Harmanpreet Kaur lunges across and heaves it wide of long on. The batters push hard for two and get back with ease. Good running.

Length ball on leg, not much room to work with and Kaur hoicks it across to dee mid-wicket for just a single.

Back of a length and over middle, Kranti Gaud makes room and slaps it down to the left of long on for another single.

OUT! CAUGHT! A tired-looking shot from the Indian skipper and Megan Schutt picks up her first wicket of the game. Slower one, slightly into the pitch and angled into the leg pole. Harmanpreet Kaur backs away to go over the off side but gets no power on it. The ball gets lobbed to square cover where Phoebe Litchfield takes a simple catch and Kaur walks back after a fighting knock.

Slower and into the pitch, Gaud picks it well, backs away and flat-bats it back over the bowler's head for a single.

Banged in short over off, Harmanpreet Kaur gets inside the line and pulls it down to the right of deep square leg for one. FIFTY comes up for the Indian skipper as well, back-to-back in this WODI series.

A bit fuller and outside off, Gaud drives it to mid off.

Hard length over middle, Gaud rocks back and forces the lofted shot back over the bowler's head. No timing on it and the batters get a single.

Good length around middle, Kaur backs away and swings through the line, hammering it along the turf to mid off. A slight misfield over there allows the batters to pick up a single.

Slower delivery, slightly into the pitch, Gaud drags it across to deep mid-wicket and they get another single. Two overs to go, can India get to 250 here?

FOUR! Edged away! Full and just outside off, nearly yorker length, Kranti Gaud jams the bat down and gets an outside edge that rolls along the turf and down to deep third for a single.

Half an appeal for LBW, going down the leg for sure. Good-length delivery, darts back in, Gaud plays down the wrong line and gets struck on the pads.

FOUR! Well, that's sweetly timed by Gaud. Length ball, a bit on the fuller side and around off, Kranti Gaud waits well before lofting it wide of mid off and picks up anoher boundary.

Hard length, pushed wide outside off, Gaud looks to cut but misses.

FOUR! A third boundary in the over and Kranti Gaud is on fire here. Pitched-up full and on off, Gaud keeps the front leg out of the way and hits the drive aerially and just wide of mid off again for four more runs.

OUT! BOWLED! Oh, that's a bit unfortunate for the batter but Ashleigh Gardner is elated. Dragged length again, angled into the bodyline. Kashvee Gautam looks to stay back and work it 'round the corner on the leg side but gets it off the thigh pads. The ball then hits the back of her arm and goes back onto the stumps. The bails get dislodged and that marks the end of a fighting 55-run stand between these two.

Beaten! Another leg break, lands it not all that full on middle and gets it to turn sharply. Gautam reaches out to sweep but is comprehensively beaten.

A dot to end King's spell, which reads - 10-1-41-2. Flighted ball, a bit full and outside off, Harmanpreet Kaur plays it late and just taps it in front of covers.

Short of a good length and over off, Gautam presses back to defend.

Slower one into the pitch and wide outside off, Kashvee Gautam rocks back to cut but ends up chopping it into the deck.

Back of a length, angled in from wider on the crease, bounces a bit more as well. Gautam keeps it down in front of short cover.

Short ball over off and middle, Kashvee Gautam hits it like a tennis forehand smash but mistimes the ball, which lands well short and wide of long on. Just a single.

Ouch! Harmanpreet Kaur has ended up hitting herself on the helmet. Slower one, back of a length and well outside off. Kaur sets up for the lap but has to adjust and just extends the bat, playing the scoop back onto the helmet. That's hit her right on the badge, but thankfully, Kaur looks fine.

FOUR! Nicely done but not the best of deliveries from Schutt. Fullish length on leg, sliding down, Kaur gets inside the line and laps it fine. Alana King at fine leg runs to her right and dives in but can't prevent the boundary.

Play and a miss! A flatter leg break, just outside off, Kashvee Gautam looks to sweep it hard and in front of square but is well beaten.

Dragged length outside off, pushed down into the off side by Gautam.

FOUR! Down the wrong line and Kashvee Gautam puts it away nicely. Full and down the leg side, Gautam sits down and sweeps it to the right of fine leg and picks up a much-needed boundary.

Tossed up on off, driven along the turf and to the right of short cover where Phoebe Litchfield puts in the dive and makes a sharp stop.

DROPPED! Should have been taken in the deep but Megan Schutt spills it. Flatter one, a bit full and on middle and leg. Kashvee Gautam brings out the slog sweep and hits it straight to deep mid-wicket. Schutt comes in and puts in a slide but fails to hang on. They get a single.

Pitched up, full and sliding back into the stumps, Gautam gets an inside edge behind square leg for a single.

A leg-cutter from Megan, seams away from the right-hander. Harmanpreet Kaur has a poke at it but gets beaten past the outside edge.

Pitched-up delivery, darts back into middle and leg, Kaur steps inside the line ad just tucks it across to mid-wicket. When is Harmanpreet Kaur going to try and flick the switch - that remains the big question.

Drifted into the leg stump, Ghosh sits down and just angles it away through backward square leg for a run.

Nagging length on off, turning away a touch, Kaur dabs it wide oif point and races through for the single.

Fuller and drifted into the legs, Ghosh defends it down the line.

A touch shorter around off, Ghosh backs away and cuts it down to short third for another dot.

OUT! LBW! King bowls the attacking leg break and slides the ball into the pads. Richa Ghosh gets a big stride out to just angle the sweep fine but misses and gets hit on the front pad. There's a big shout for LBW, turned down. Both Alana King and the keeper look confident and Alyssa Healy does take the review. The third umpire checks UltraEdge first and there's no bat involved. Ball Tracking confirms that it is pitching in line and hitting the stumps as well. Excellent review and another brewing partnership is cut short, at 32 runs.

Oh, that's a lovely delivery from King, and another shout for LBW but this one seems to be hitting the batter outside the line of off stump. No review is taken. Looped up, full and outside off, the ball drifts in and catches Kashvee Gautam on the front toe as she looks to drive. The ball rolls away to short third for a leg bye. Ball Tracking later confirms that the impact was indeed outside the line.

Full of a good length and outside off, Kaur takes a step across to the off side and hits it on the up through mid off for one more.

TWO WIDES! Slower one, full and angled down leg. Ghosh is drawn forward and misses the flick, but thankfully for her, the ball goes past the keeper and down to fine leg. The batters cross.

Nice and full, angled in this time, Harmanpreet Kaur walks inside the line and pushes it to mid on.

Very full and down leg, Harmanpreet Kaur gets inside the line again and tickles it fine. Alana King does well to run to her right and slides in to flick the ball back around the body and she saves a couple of runs for her side here. Replays show that King got a bit lucky as the ball bounced off her body but stayed in.

Drop and run! Good length around off, Kaur lets the ball come on and just taps it in front of cover-point for a quick single.

Slower through the air, floated up on middle, Ghosh smothers it across to short mid-wicket.

Flighted again, on a length on off and this one straightens a bit. Kaur plays it with soft hands and towards backward point.

OUT! EDGED AND GONE! Not cleanly taken by Beth Mooney but she clings onto the ball and Nicola Carey strikes on the very first ball of her return spell. Lovely length, just a touch fuller than a good length and in the channel. Amanjot Kaur is caught on the crease and has a late attempt at the drive but gets the outside edge. Mooney fumbles the ball a couple of times but does well to pouch it. End of a 27-run stand between the two Kaurs.

Full and on middle and leg, Pratika Rawal tucks this straight into the hands of Annabel Sutherland at mid on. Harmanpreet Kaur at the other end was ball-watching but Pratika Rawal set off for a run which was never on offer. Annabel Sutherland picks it up and throws it to Mooney behind the stumps at the striker's end. Pratika Rawal had completed the single on her own and was standing next to Kaur with no chance to get back inside the crease at her end. 78/0 has now become 100/3.

Annabel Sutherland hits the deck hard and bowls it on off, Jemimah Rodrigues steps across and looks to run this down to the deep third region but she gets a bit too close to the ball and ends up edging this straight back into the gloves of Beth Mooney behind the stumps.

Oh, a leading edge but Pratika Rawal gets away with it. Slower one, angled into the pads, Pratika Rawal closes the bat faceearly as she looks to flick ad gets a leading edge that gets skied over the mid off region. Alyssa Healy is unable to get to it and a single is taken.

Oh, some extra bounce this time from Sutherland. Slower one, on a good length, this one bites into the deck and rises a bit more. Rawal is taken aback and gets an inside edge down to fine leg for a single.

Tossed up around off, it is the leg break. Rawal leans on and gets an inside edge towards square leg, picking up a single in the process as well.

Nicely looped up, full and dipping on the batter around off. Rodrigues waits well and firms the drive towards cover where a fumble allows the batters to pick up a single.

A bit of hesitation in the middle but Pratika Rawal makes it through safely. Flatter one around off, Rawal slaps it to the right of point. The batters start to run but then see the fielder dive to her right and make a brilliant stop, and they stutter a bit. The fielder throws it without getting up and the ball hits the stumps at the bowler's end but Rawal is in.

Ashleigh Gardner sees this and holds back a bit, slowing it up and drifts it full towards the leg stump. Mandhana tries to play the lap but misses it completely and sees the stumps getting rattled. End of a 78-run opening stand for India Women.

Starts right on the money, does Sutherland. Hits a good length, bowling it right around the top of off, Rawal blocks it off.

FOUR! Probably the first boundary that Mandhana has hit with disdain today. Short of a good length, on middle and leg, Smriti swivels nicely and whips it away to the right of deep backward square leg for a boundary. 9 off Sutherland's first over.

DROPPED! Would you believe it? Smriti Mandhana gets a second life.
