From around the stumps, this is dished full and on off. Hasan advances and lofts it over mid on. The fielder, Bartlett, sprints and just manages to haul the ball back in before crashing into the boundary ropes with a slide. Two taken.

 BEATEN! Hones in on a length, just around the off stump. Najmul Hossain Shanto loosely hangs the bat away from his body, trying to defend, but the ball leaves him and zips past the outside edge.

Another jaffa! The length is pulled back by Ellis, but he continues to bowl in the channel of uncertainty, getting the ball to cut away off the pitch. Najmul Hossain Shanto gets squared up on the back foot defence and is beaten comprehensively on the outside edge.

 DROPPED! Labuschagne, the one who took a fantastic catch earlier, has shelled a rather easy one this time around. A shade fuller in length, angling away from the batter. Najmul Hossain Shanto gets on the front foot to play at it, pushing hard, but gets a fat outside edge that goes flat to the slip cordon. Marnus Labuschagne from second slip, dives to his right, gets both hands to it, but spills the chance. It was at a catchable height as well, but he couldn't cling on.

Absolute peach! In the channel, lands and nips away from the off stump. Tanzid Hasan is a bit squared up on the defence and the ball flirts past the outside edge.

Swings back in from middle, short in length. Tanzid Hasan hops on the toes to ride the bounce and bunts it down the strip with soft hands.

Drifts onto the pads, Tanzid Hasan flicks the full ball to deep square leg for a couple of runs.

Full again, on the leg stump line. Tanzid clips it behind square on the leg side and they hustle back for the second run once again. Good running.

Much better this time from Bartlett! On middle and it nips back in on a fuller length. Najmul Hossain Shanto's head falls over as he nudges it to the left of mid on for a quick single.

WIDE! A loosener to start. Straight down leg, good length. Saif Hassan gets inside the line to help it away, but misses.

 FOUR! Put away! Ellis gets it to swing away from the batter, wide outside off. Saif Hassan gets on the front foot and throws his bat at it. Swings hard and slices it over backward point for a boundary.

OUT! EDGED AND TAKEN! Ellis with an instant comeback and Bangladesh's opening stand lasts just 8 balls. Nathan corrects his line and length this time around. This is full, closer to the off pole with a hint of away shape. Saif Hassan is forced to play with the angle. Tries to defend, but is squared up and that ekes out a thick outside edge that goes low to the right of the second slip. Marnus Labuschagne is watchful there, dives to his right and grabs it one-handed inches above the ground. Spectacular catch from Marnus. Not much impact from Saif and Bangladesh are 10/1.

 FOUR! Straight as an arrow! A half-volley on off, Najmul Hossain Shanto leans completely onto it and creams the straight drive, to the left of mid off for a boundary to get off the mark in style.

Nagging length, cutting back in from middle to leg. Najmul Hossain Shanto blocks it but off the inside edge to the leg side.

Wild swing and a miss! Hits the back of a length, angling away from the southpaw. Najmul Hossain Shanto stays put and looks to pull it to the leg side, but the ball whistles past the inside edge and beats him up.

Hard length, on top of off, at 132.4 kph. Najmul Hossain Shanto alertly blocks it down the pitch. A successful over for the Aussies and Ellis, despite a couple of boundaries.
