SIX! Mehidy Hasan Miraz finishes things off in style! BANGLADESH WIN BY 5 WICKETS (DLS), with 36 balls to spare. Riley Meredith bangs this into the pitch again, on middle and leg. Mehidy gets inside the line of it and hooks it over the fine leg fence for a biggie. Bangladesh also take an unassailable 2-0 lead, winning their first-ever ODI series against the Aussies.

Ouch! Surprise bumper on the bodyline, and it springs up from the pitch. Mehidy Hasan Miraz is completely taken aback as he takes his eyes off the ball while attempting the pull shot, but is beaten. The ball smashes hard onto the side of the helmet and lobs over and to the left of the backward point fielder for a leg bye. A concussion test will follow for Miraz and he looks shaken by that proper blow.

FOUR LEG BYES! Runs away and Bangladesh inch closer to script history! A poor delivery from Ellis. Short of a length, on the pads. Towhid Hridoy misses the flick and the ball ricochets off the thigh pad before running behind to the deep fine leg fence.

Excellent running! Good length on the middle stump, Hridoy stays put and turns it wide of square leg and they show good urgency to hustle back for the second run. Matthew Short slides to stop the ball and throws it to the keeper. Inglis breaks the stumps in a flash but Hridoy is comfortably in by then.

Touch full, sliding on middle. Hridoy pats it back to Zampa.

Drifts one on the pads, on a length. Hridoy plays off the back foot and nudges it to the right of the fielder at mid-wicket for a single.

Unplayable stuff! The in-dipper on a fuller length. It lands and spins sharply away from the batter. Mehidy Hasan Miraz is sucked on the front foot to block but the ball spins past the bat's face and Josh Inglis is quick enough to whip the bails off. Miraz's back leg never lifted or got dragged out of the crease though.

OUT! CAUGHT! Adam Zampa has the last laugh here. He flights this one up, full and around off, turns away a bit. Mosaddek Hossain skips down the track to go for the big shot down the ground but his bat turns in his hands. He ends up slicing across it as the ball flies straight to long off, where Cooper Connolly does not have to move an inch and takes a good reverse cup catch. Hossain knew as soon as he hit it and started to walk back. Bangladesh are 144/5, chasing 192 runs.

A big appeal for LBW, but turned down. Zampa looks interested and tries to convince Inglis, but they do not go for a review. Sharp leg break, full and around the off pole. Mosaddek Hossain is sucked on the front foot to block but plays inside the line and is hit on the back thigh. The impact seems to be outside off here.

 FOUR! Just beats the fielder! Short on the stumps, Mosaddek Hossain hangs back and pulls it uppishly over mid-wicket, beating the deep square leg fielder's dive to his left for a boundary.

Just short! Fullish and outside off, this one grips and turns away at 84.1 kph. Mosaddek looks to push from the crease and gets a thick outside edge that rolls past the diving first slip fielder for a single.

Length ball on the stumps, tossed up. It is the googly and Hridoy leans into the ball and blocks back to the bowler.

OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Sizzling delivery from Green and he strikes big. A wicket at a very crucial time for the Aussies. Green bangs it too short with a cross-seam and on top of the off stump, nipping in sharply. It keeps rising up and Das is not quick enough to drop his bat. The ball grazes the gloves and lobs behind to the right of the keeper, where Josh Inglis takes a fine catch. Bangladesh are 122/4, needing 70 more runs from 106 balls.

Back of a length, outside off. Mosaddek Hossain straightaway advances down the track and slashes it over cover-point for a single to get off the mark. Shows intent from the first ball.

 FOUR! Glanced away! Nice use of the angle by Hridoy as he rides the sharp bouncer on the leg stump. And helps it to the left of the diving keeper for a boundary at deep fine leg.

WIDE! Sprays it far down leg, on a fullish length. Left alone by Towhid.

On a back of a length, on off, Towhid Hridoy covers the line and blocks it down the pitch.

Change of ends for Ellis. Too full and slow at 110.3 kph, outside off. Towhid carves it out to cover, where the fielder dives to his left and makes a good stop.

 FOUR! CRUNCHED AWAY! Drops a full ball, outside off. Litton Das pounces on it and smashes it to the left of the cover fielder for a cracking boundary. Top-drawer placement from Das. Bangladesh need 76 runs to win now.

OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! That is a superb review by the Aussie skipper. Riley Meredith lands this short of a length and just around off, gets some lift off the deck. Najmul Hossain Shanto stays back and slashes at it, but is tucked up for space, and it seems the ball zipped past the outside edge. However, Josh Inglis grabs it behind the stumps and appeals for the caught behind. It is turned down. Meredith looks unsure about it, but Inglis takes the review right away as he believes he heard something. UltraEdge shows a big spike when the ball is next to the bat and the on-field call is changed. Maiden ODI wicket for Meredith. Both the set batters are gone now.

Soumya Sarkar changes his stance for the reverse sweep but due to the extra bounce, the ball catches the back of his bat. It flies towards first slip, where Xavier Bartlett reacts quickly to his left to take a sharp catch. Bangladesh are 86/2, chasing 192 runs.

 SIX! Goes the distance! A real hit-me delivery by Zampa. Too full on off and middle. Soumya Sarkar lets the ball dip, clears the front leg, gets under the ball and launches it over deep mid-wicket for half a dozen runs. Zampa is not happy with himself. 3-0-19-0 are his bowling figures so far.

Sloppy from Zampa! Matt Renshaw starts with a length ball that slides down on the pads. Najmul Hossain Shanto wrists it to short fine leg where Zampa dives to his left and makes a half-stop, parrying the ball to the deep for a couple of runs.

Tossed up on a length, on off. Shanto goes back and across and punches it to long on for a single.

Keeps it full, on the stumps, Soumya Sarkar lunges forward and angles it to backward point.

Slides in an arm ball, flatter on a good length, Soumya Sarkar plays the late cut to short third.

 FOUR! Absolutely belted! Takes pace off and goes full on off, Soumya Sarkar gets the ball into the slot. Gets himself into a balanced position before whacking it over the bowler's head for a boundary down the ground.

Drifting down leg, on a length. Sarkar misses to tuck it and the ball rolls off the thigh pad towards deep fine leg. Zampa rushes across to his left and cuts it off. Two leg byes.

In the channel, slightly fuller on off. Soumya Sarkar lets the ball nip away and then steers it to deep third for an easy single.

 Around the stumps, Bartlett angles one in on a good length, targeting the pads. Shanto goes for the flick but misses and is struck high on the front pad, the ball rolling towards square leg. Bartlett goes up for the LBW but has his back against the batter and in doing so, gets in Shanto's way as the batter sets off for the run. The two end up colliding as Shanto charges forward. No harm done, though. Shanto recovers quickly and gets through to the other end. Leg bye taken.

 FOUR! Pierces the gap! A free gift to start his spell. Zampa dishes out a low full toss. Najmul Hossain Shanto flicks it comfortably between the deep mid-wicket and deep square leg fielders for a boundary.

Sprays it down leg, flatter on a fuller length. Najmul Hossain Shanto tickles it finer to the fine leg region for a couple of runs.

Incredible effort! Short of a length and on middle, Najmul Hossain Shanto stays back and pulls it away aerially wide of short mid-wicket. Marnus Labuschagne flings himself to his right and tries to grab it with his outstretched right hand, but the ball bursts through the fingers. That would have been a special catch. A single taken.

Just over! The ball is playing cat and mouse with Marnus Labuschagne. Riley Meredith bowls a well-directed bumper on middle. Najmul Hossain Shanto gets hurried on the pull and mistimes it uppishly. Marnus Labuschagne at mid-wicket leaps and tries to grab it with both hands above his head, but the ball just evades him. Two taken.

Uppish but safe! Bangs this into the pitch, on middle and leg, gets some extra bounce. Soumya Sarkar gives the charge to pull it away, but gets rushed. He miscues the shot in the air, but it goes over the bowler's head and lands well wide of mid on as well.

FOUR! Excellent shot! Much fuller and on middle and leg, shapes in a bi. Soumya Sarkar brings his wrists into play and flicks it with fine timing between mid-wicket and mid on for another boundary.

Back of a length and around leg, skids through, Najmul Hossain Shanto gets a bit tucked up and clips it towards square leg.

FOUR! Put away with ease! This is short of a length and on middle, but not short enough to trouble the batter. Najmul Hossain Shanto climbs onto it and whacks it through mid-wicket for four more runs. 13 runs off Meredith's first over. Also, Najmul Hossain Shanto completes 2000 ODI runs. Athar Ali Khan informs on air that Shanto becomes the 11th Bangladeshi batter to have crossed that figure in ODI cricket.

Massive appeal for LBW, but not given. Xavier Bartlett is very keen to take the review, but Inglis seems reluctant. So they do not review. On the money, is Bartlett. Swings one back in from the leg stump line, on a fuller length. Tanzid Hasan tries to flick it across, but plays all over and is struck on the front pad. 

OUT! CAUGHT AND BOWLED! If not on the first ball, Bartlett fishes out Tanzid on the second delivery. Pitched fuller on middle, shaping back in sharply. Tanzid Hasan shapes up to drill it over the bowler's head, but hits it off the toe end and chips it straight to the bowler. Xavier Bartlett takes a good return catch on his follow-through right in front of his face. Dream start for the Aussies in their defence. Bangladesh are 0/1, almost identical to how the Aussies started off.

DROPPED! An opportunity, but goes down this time! Very full and around off. The ball holds a bit on the surface and Shanto mistimes the straight drive to the left of the bowler. It dips on Bartlett who bends low to his left, extending his left hand to pluck the ball, but it deflects off his fingers and runs towards mid on.

Missing the leg stump! Fractionally fuller on the leg stump line, curving back in. Najmul Hossain Shanto's head falls over while attempting the flick and the ball thuds the front pad. Once again, the appeal goes around for LBW and this time, the finger is raised. Australians are joyous but Shanto has gone upstairs almost instantly for a review. Flat line on the UltraEdge and the Ball Tracking shows the impact is on umpire's call and the ball is projected to miss the leg stump by a fair bit. So the on-field decision is overturned and Shanto survives. What an action-packed first over! Bartlett starts with a wicket-maiden.
