Moeen Ali has two quick wickets and he was bound to make an impact on this game despite his injury! This is tossed up full and outside the off stump. Jonny Bairstow sticks his hand out and grabs the ball as he falls over but does not let his elbow hit the ground. Mitchell Marsh does not even wait for the umpire to decide as he turns around and begins his walk back to the pavilion. Australia have lost six wickets now and England are four scalps away from leveling the series!

Travis Head's attacking ability could have taken the game away from the hosts in a jiffy but he perishes 7 runs short of his half-century. Moeen Ali flights this one full and outside the off stump. Travis Head goes for the expansive drive through covers but the ball lands on the rough and turns away from the bat sharply. Takes the outside edge of the bat and goes towards slip where Joe Root makes the catch look really easy. Australia lose their fourth wicket early in the final session and England will have their tails up as they look for a few more quick wickets.

He still goes for the review though. The third umpire deems that Stokes was not in control of the catch and adjudges it as not out. Boos ring around the Kennington Oval and the English players are bemused as well.
