OUT! CAUGHT! Lewis Gregory is gone and is there a twist in the tale? This game is not over by all means. There was an argument in the middle between Shadab Khan and Sarfaraz Ahmed but all's well. Short ball around off, Gregory looks to pull but it takes the top edge and it goes off the top edge towards point. Shadab Khan runs ahead and dives forward to take the catch. Shadab looks at Sarfaraz Ahmed and asks him why did you not go for the catch? Good catch in the end.

If Imam-ul-Haq would have leaped using both hands then maybe, he could've grabbed the ball.

The Ultra Edge shows no bat while the Ball Tracker shows all reds and Simpson goes, taking a review with him. 

BEATEN! This is superb bowling from Shadab Khan! Tossed up around off, it spins away. Gregory looks to defend but gets beaten on the outside.

There comes the reverse sweep again, this time the connection is made and it goes towards short third man. Faheem Ashraf dives to his left from short third man but it is not a clean stop. Two runs taken.

SIX! ADMONISHED! Neither Hasan Ali nor Sohaib Maqsood would be happy right now. Both gave a life to Stokes and he is making merry now. Dropped way too short, outside off, the skipper goes back and pulls it over mid-wicket!

OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND!  Well third time lucky for Shadab and Pakistan! They finally manage to dislodge Stokes. Flashback Perth, 2013. Ben Stokes was playing his second Test and it was the Ashes, Down Under, in Perth. It was a phenomenal example of keeping then. It is a phenomenal example of keeping now. We shall describe this one first. It was the googly, outside off and Stokes looked to play the slog sweep. But all he managed was an under edge. Mohammad Rizwan showed excellent reflexes to take the catch and Stokes has to go! In Perth it was Brad Haddin the keeper and Nathan Lyon the bowler. Both occasions had one thing in common - the ball going away from Stokes as he was attempting a slog sweep. Pakistan should be favourites now. England need 181 to win from 180 balls.

Outside off, James Vince punches it straight to short extra cover where we see another fumble. No run taken.

FOUR! Away behind square on the off side. That is a James Vince special, really. Finesse, caress, timing. All three were visible in this stroke. Back of a length, outside off, Vince goes back and transfers his weight onto that shot. The ball rockets behind point and beats Shaheen Afridi's desperate dive to his right from third man.

DROPPED, FOUR! No, Pakistan! What are you doing? Second life for Ben Stokes in the span of 9 balls. Full, around middle, Stokes comes down the track and swings it towards long on. Now, Sohaib Maqsood is stationed there, but for some reason, he is standing a few yards inside the boundary ropes. The ball comes to him but he has to leap. Sticks out his right hand, but the ball bursts through and reaches the ropes. Had he been at the ropes, Stokes would have gone past the ropes to the dressing room.

Fuller, outside off, James drives it towards short extra cover where Imam-ul-Haq fumbles but no run is taken.

Oh my... Stokes is on the charge! A length bal, around off, Ben Stokes walks down the track and hammers it straight back. Unfortunately for England, James Vince comes right in the way and is hit on the right thigh! The ball deflects towards mid-wicket. Stokes is having a laugh about it.

Down the track again, is the skipper and he pulls this through mid-wicket for a couple.

FOUR! WHOOSH! Stokes is probably deciding to take matters in his own hands. A length ball, around middle, the skipper comes down the track and hammers it to the right of mid off. The fielder slides over the ball and it goes through.

Short ball, outside off, James Vince cuts it behind point for a couple. Vince moves to 31 from 25 balls. England need another 212 from 209 balls.

Quicker, googly, outside off, Ben Stokes goes right back and defends.

DROPPED, FOUR! Oh no. Oh no, no, no. HASAN ALI!!!! Big, big, moment in the game. Full, around middle and leg, Stokes gets down and mows a slog sweep. It is the longer part of the ground though and Hasan Ali actually does well to run long to his right from fine leg. Gets to the ball, it is right in his palms but drops down, just before the ropes and then crosses over.

OUT! TIMBER! Zak Crawley plays all around a straight delivery and Pakistan desperately needed that. Haris Rauf is pumped up. He runs in and bowls a pacy, full delivery on off, Crawley looks to play it on the leg side but misses. It hits his pads and it uproots the off stump. England 3 down now and they need 228 in 223 balls.

FOUR! WHAM! Fine way to end Powerplay 1. A short ball, around the hips, Crawley stands on one leg, swivels like a pivot, or a hinge rather and pulls it behind square leg. One bounce and into the fence. England end Powerplay 1 on 84/2, while Pakistan were 35/1 at the same stage!

Driven on the up. This is such a lovely pitch. JV comes forward and drives this on the up through the covers. Fakhar Zaman we think it is, from that position, runs after the ball, gets to it, slides and then pulls it back to his partner who is running after him from mid off. Three runs taken.

FOUR! Stand and deliver! Whether Hasan Ali goes or not, this one has to go. Fractionally short outside off, Crawley just stands his ground and whips a pull over wide mid on. 10 from the over, Hasan Ali's figures read 4-0-31-1.

OUT! CAUGHT! Haris Rauf has struck on his very first ball! He is all over the moon and Salt takes the long walk back to the pavillion. Nothing special about the delivery, nothing too good or bad about the shot and nothing too difficult about the catch. Just like any normal day in our lives, this one comes just like that. It is a length ball, around off and Philip Salt just looked to whip it away. Nothing wrong with that. But just that the flight of the ball was obstructed by Fakhar Zaman at short mid-wicket! Did not have to move an inch. But a metre either side of him and it was a boundary. End of an entertaining innings from Salt but England need a partnership now. 279 needed from 263 balls.

FOUR! ELEGANT! A tall player, who plays beautiful, crisp drives, Zak Crawley is a treat to watch. Length ball, around off, Crawley drives it straight back to where it came from, past the bowler, down the ground.

FOUR MORE! Outstanding timing. A length ball again, a bit too straight, Zak Crawley works it through mid-wicket and the ball races away! Crawley has raced to 20 from 17 balls.

MISFIELD. Pakistan have been ragged on the field, alright. Full, outside off, Philip Salt drives it towards we think it is Saud Shakeel at short extra cover.
