OUT! CAUGHT! Aiden Markram is not dropping this one and Barry McCarthy's cameo comes to an end! Dwaine Pretorius continues bowling short and angles the ball into the batter, Barry McCarthy pulls hard but does not time this well as it floats towards deep mid-wicket. Aiden Markram takes a good catch running to his right and makes it look really easy! That brings an end to Ireland's innings and they have lost by 44 runs.

A length ball, well outside off, Barry McCarthy has a wild swing at it but misses it completely.

Smartly bowled! This is on a fullish length and outside off, Ngidi takes all the pace off the ball. McCarthy has a swipe across the line but gets beaten for the lack of pace this time.

And again! Fuller and around off, no pace offered by Nigidi. Barry McCarthy goes a bit too hard at it and loses his shape as he misses the ball yet again.

SIX! Pace on and McCarthy takes full advantage. This is on a shortish length and outside off, McCarthy fetches it and pulls it hard and flat over the cow corner fence for a maximum.

Slower and shorter, around off, this is pulled off the inside edge towards short fine leg for a single.

Good length, outside off and slower in pace, Little looks to guide it past the keeper but misses.

Tabraiz Shamsi serves this shot and in line with the stumps, Barry McCarthy pulls this to deep square leg for a single.

WIDE! Full and turning down leg side, Josh Little looks to work this fine and misses. The umpire calls this one wide.

This is flighted full outside off, Josh Little looks to defend and gets an inside edge towards square leg for a single.

Wayne Parnell bowls this full and angles this into the batter, Andy McBrine comes forward to play this along the line of the delivery. The ball straightens after pitching and gets a faint edge towards the keeper. Quinton de Kock is moving to the right and sees the edge last moment. Dives full length to his left and takes a breathtaking catch! Ireland have lost their ninth wicket.

OUT! TAKEN! Dwaine Pretorius gets in on the wicket-taking action and Ireland are now 7 down! This is over off stump, on a hard length and George Dockrell looks to loft it straight down the ground. The bat turns in his hands and ball goes off the splice of the bat, looping up to the left of mid off. David Miller over there slides to his left and takes the catch.

OUT! CAUGHT! Two in two now for Dwaine Pretorius and he will be on a hat-trick next ball. This is on a shorter length and well outside off, Mark Adair goes after it and carves it uppishly. The ball flies down towards the point fence. Heinrich Klaasen from deep backward point runs to his right and dives in to take a brilliant catch. Mark Adair departs for a low score and South Africa are just two wicket away from victory.

FOUR! Good length, angling into the body. Curtis Campher steps down the track and makes a bit of room before powering it right back over the bowler's head for a boundary.

OUT! CAUGHT BEHIND! Curtis Campher tries to be too cute now and pays the price. Slower delivery, over middle stump, Campher tries to reverse sweep it into the third man fence but is beaten for the lack of pace. The ball takes a faint edge on its way to the keeper and Quinton de Kock makes no mistake behind the sticks.

Dockrell is off the mark in his 100th T20I game! Back of a length, around off, this is tapped towards cover for a single.

OUT! CAUGHT! Another one bites the dust and for the second time tonight, Wayne Parnell gets a double-strike. This is banged in short and at a good height, angling into the body. Harry Tector looks to take it on and goes for the pull. Tector gets hurried on and the ball goes off the top edge, skying around the point region. Lungi Ngidi from short third man calls it early and runs towards it to take a simple catch. Parnell has his fourth and Ireland are fading away real fast.

FOUR! Well struck! In the stumps, Harry Tector plays the slog sweep and gets it well in front of mid-wicket as the ball rockets into the fence.

Well bowled! Slows it up, bowls it fuller and outside off, Tevtor looks to loft it over cover but is beaten.

Beaten once again! This is very full and around off, Tector looks to get underneath it and loft it straight back but misses.

WIDE! Floated, full and wide outside off, just a bit too wide for the umpire's liking.

WIDE! This is spilled way beyond the tramline outside off, no shot offered.

Maharaj darts this one in on off stump, Tevtor can only manage to jam it back towards the bowler.

On the shorter side and turning into the pads, Tector goes on the back foot and works it behind square on the leg side for a single.

Half an appeal for LBW but there might have been some glove involved. Tossed up, full and around off, Campher reaches out and tries to paddle it fine. The ball goes off the gloves and onto the pads.

Floated up, around off, this is swept away in front of square on the leg side for a run.

A hint of flight on this occasion, around off, Tector gets inside the line of the ball and sweeps hard and low towards deep backward square leg for one more.

On a length and outside off, Campher cuts it through cover for a single.

Hit hard but for just a single. This is around off, Harry Tector advances and drills it down to long off for just a single.

Quicker and flatter, sliding into the pads, this is tucked away past square leg for a single.

Flatter again, outside off, Campher slaps it towards deep cover and picks up a single.

This is fuller and angling into the pads, Tector fails to work it away.

Around off, Harry Tector makes room and plays it towards the cover region for one more.

Keshav Maharaj bowls this slower in the air and full outside off, Curtis Campher reverse sweep this straight to short third man but gets a run.

Keshav Maharaj fires this one full and wide outside off, Harry Tector has to reach for it as he thumps it towards long off for a single to keep strike. Just 5 runs of the over.

Full and spinning into the batter, Curtis Campher goes forward but the ball comes in sharply and beats his bat. Hits his body and rolls to the offside for a single.

Goes full once again and angling into the pads, Harry Tector clips this towards fine leg and they run well to pick up a couple of runs.

This is a fraction short and in line with the stumps, Harry Tector works the ball towards mid-wicket and takes a single.

Flighted full outside off, Curtis Campher works this through covers for another run.

FOUR! This one has been put away! Tabraiz Shamsi serves this short and in line with the stumps and Harry Tector gets low to pull this towards deep square leg for a boundary.

Keshav Maharaj fired one in full and just going down leg, Curtis Campher goes across to sweep and misses. Just misses the leg stump by a bit.

This is short once again and angling in. Harry Tector cuts this late towards point and takes a single.

SIX! BOOM! This one is out of here! On middle, Curtis Campher dances down the track and thumps it right back over the bowler's head and into the sightscreen for a maximum.

On a shorter length and heading for middle, Curtis Campher knocks this to the right of point for a single and keeps strike.

Tabraiz Shamsi starts with a full delivery and turning down leg, Gareth Delany looks to clip this and misses. It hits the pads and rolls over to short fine leg.

OUT! LBW! Gareth Delany's stay at the crease for just two balls and it's once again Tabraiz Shamsi who sends him packing. This is on a length and around off, it is the regular chinaman delivery and turning into the right-hander. Delany looks to work it leg side but gets squared up and gets rapped on the pads. There is a huge shout for LBW and it has been given! Gareth Delany has been adjudged out by the on-field umpire but after some discussion, has gone for the review. No spike on UltraEdge and Ball Tracking shows wickets as umpire's call as the ball is hitting the top of off. The original decision stands.

Tabraiz Shamsi flights this full and pitching on leg, Curtis Campher looks to fend and gets beaten on the inside edge as it hits his pads. Hige appeal once again but this will be going down leg.

Goes full once again and outside off, Curtis Campher goes for the sweep and drags the ball towards deep mid-wicket for a single.

Tabraiz Shamsi serves this short and turning down leg, Harry Tector rocks back and pulls this to the right of short fine leg towards deep backward square leg for a brace.

Leg bye! Ngidi starts off with a good-length delivery, around the hips. Stirling looks to work it away leg side but misses. The ball goes off the thigh pads and towards backward square leg. The batters sneak in a leg bye.

Full and wide, Tector looks to cover drive but chops it back towards the keeper.

Very full and wide again, Tector reaches out and plays it towards cover for a single.

Ouch, that must have hurt! This is delivered on a hard length and slanted into leg stump. Paul Stirling looks to pull it away but gets hurried on and misses. The ball goes on to hit him right in the groin region and Stirling is down in some pain.

OUT! TAKEN! A really good take from Aiden Markram and South Africa have the wicket they needed. Lungi Ngidi goes pace off now and serves it on a fullish length, outside off. Paul Stirling looks to go a bit too hard at it and is weway too early in his shot. The ball takes the top edge and goes high over the backward point region. Markram over there runs back and takes it over his shoulders reverse-cup style. Ngidi gets his man and Ireland in a spot of bother here.

A dot to end, just 2 runs and a wicket off it. Back of a length, around off, Tector taps it towards cover-point. At the end of the Powerplay, Ireland are 40/3!

Starts off with a lovely delivery. Perfect length, in that channel around off and just nibbling away a touch. Paul Stirling looks to have a dab at it but gets beaten past the outside edge.

Length again, angling it into the pads, Stirling gets an inside edge. The ball goes off the pads and rolls onto the leg side. Single taken.

FOUR! Full and angling down the leg stump, Harry Tector backs away and absolutely drills it back past the bowler and through mid off for a boundary.

Around off, this is hit hard and to the left of the man at mid off. The batters scamper through for a single, good running.

FOUR! A short ball, down leg, Paul Stirling has enough time to just help it on its way, behind square on the leg side and for a boundary.

Around middle and leg, tucked away towards mid-wicket for an easy single.

Direct hit but the batter is well in. Good length, angling across the right-hander. Harry Tector takes a few steps towards the ball and plays it to mid off. Tector sets off for the run and gets inside the crease in time.

SIX! The first boundary of the Irish innings and it is a big one. Pitched up, right in the slot and on leg stump. Paul Stirling makes a bit of room, freeing his arms and uses brute force to loft it over long on for a maximum.

Short of a length, outside off, Stirling cuts it away off the bottom edge towards backward point.

SIX! Short again, on leg stump, Paul Stirling muscles it away flat and hard, over the square leg fence for another maximum.

FOUR! Sweetly timed! Length ball, outside off, Stirling just slaps it away past point for a boundary.

A single to end the over, 18 coming off it. Full and around off, Stirling comes forward and drives it towards mid on for one.

Excellent work from Dwaine Pretorius. Pitched up, on the stumps and Paul Stirling lifts it right back over the bowler's head. The fielder from mid on chases it down and pulls the ball back in. Two taken.

Full and straight, Andy Balbirnie plays a straight drive, not well-timed and towards mid on.

Full and wide, this one just keeps on going away from the right-hander. Quinton de Kock with a great take diving to his right, saved a certain boundary there.

OUT! CAUGHT! A soft, soft dismissal for the Irish skipper and South Africa have the early breakthrough. This is on a hard length and around off, a bit slower as well. Andy Balbirnie looks to play it over the infield on the off side but the ball sticks in the pitch. The ball goes off the leading edge and towards short extra cover where Keshav Maharaj takes a dolly of a catch. Wayne Parnell has drawn first blood here.

OUT! CAUGHT! Straight to the man and all of a sudden, Wayne Parnell is on a hat-trick! Pitches it up around off, trying to swing it back into the right-hander. Lorcan Tucker looks to drag it and loft it over mid on but gets it off the toe end of the bat. The ball goes uppishly and towards the man at mid on. Dwaine Pretorius takes a comfotable catch around his chest and Tucker departs for a golden duck.

No hat-trick! Short and over leg stump, this is worked off hips by Tector down to fine leg for a single. Ireland in early trouble here as they are 3/2 at the end of 2 overs.
