Brydon Carse to Tim Robinson
OUT! HIGH UP IN THE AIR AND TAKEN! Brydon Carse gets an early breakthrough, and that is some catch from Bethell with low floodlights at Eden Park. Short ball does the trick here. Short, on middle, Tim Robinson goes deep in his crease and looks to pull it. Mistimes his stroke off the top edge as the ball carries towards deep backward square leg. It hangs up for a long, long time in the air, but Jacob Bethell keeps his calm, locks his eyes on the ball, and dives forward to take a good catch with both hands. It almost felt like it would sail all the way, but seemingly, it was hit against the breeze as well. Tim Robinson departs for 2 (4) and New Zealand are 20/1 in 1.5 overs.

In the end, the trophy is handed to Harry Brook as England win this series 1-0. But, what a bummer, honestly, as we didn't get much cricket to see. Just one completed game sandwiched between two no results. But ultimately, weather is something, or the only thing, a human being cannot control. That's that from this three-match T20I series, then. Both teams will head to Mount Maunganui to kick off the 3 ODI series with the first match to be played at the iconic Bay Oval, before they head to Hamilton and Wellington for the rest of the two. The first ODI will be played on Sunday, 26th October, with the first ball scheduled to be bowled at 1 am GMT. Hope that rain stays away from that series. We sign off from here, but there is plenty of international cricket going on elsewhere. You can simply tab hop and follow the live action from those matches. Until next time, take care and cheers.
