Jadeja takes the single off the first ball, surprising. Slower ball, back of a length and outside off. Jadeja angles it down in front of mid-wicket and picks up a single.

OUT! BURGER IS RUN OUT! They say never run off a misfield and why would Ravindra Jadeja even go for the second run when he's the senior batter out there? Strange running and RR aren't quite finishing with any sort of a flourish here. This is bowled on a length, just outside off. Nandre Burger pushes it to deep point for one. Eshan Malinga misfields and Jadeja calls him back for the second run. Malinga is quick to pick it up again and throws it to the keeper. Ishan Kishan whips off the bails with Nandre Burger nowhere in the frame.

Could have easily been another run out. Slower one, full and outside off. Sushant Mishra swings and misses and looks for the single but Jaddu sends him back. Ishan Kishan misses his shy at the stumps.

Another swing and a miss, and another dot ball. Sakib Hussain keeps it full and around off, slower too. Sushant Mishra goes after it but fails to lay a bat on it and Jadeja isn't interested in the bye either.

Length ball outside off, Mishra advances, gets bat to ball and gets it towards cover for a quick single.

A bizarre piece of play to end the innings. Rajasthan Royals finish with 243/8, their highest IPL total ever, beating their previous best of 242/6 against SRH as well last season. Sakib Hussain takes pace off for the umpteenth time and drags the length back, angling it across off. Jadeja comes forward and misses the swipe across the line, but the batters go for the bye. Ishan Kishan fires in a wide throw at the keeper's end and the bowler fails to collect it cleanly. This allows the batters to pinch the second bye as well.

OUT! FERREIRA IS RUN OUT! Never a two there, and Donovan Ferreira has to walk back. Nitish Kumar Reddy dishes out a full and wide ball, outside the off stump. Ferreira reaches out and squeezes it to the right of deep third for a single. Shivang Kumar runs across and picks it up, and the batters decide a bit late to go for the second run. Kumar throws it to the keeper and Ishan Kishan whips off the bails in a flash. Replays show that Ferreira put in a dive, but he is well short.

Full and outside off again, Jofra Archer jams it into the turf and straight to the cover fielder.

Wow, another dot. Very full and very wide outside off, but Nitish Kumar Reddy lands it perfectly inside the tramline. Archer leaves it in hopes of a wide but won't get it.

FOUR! Reddy overpitches and gets punished. Misses the yorker and serves a full toss around off. Archer manages to power it to the right of the cover fielder for a boundary.

Reddy comes back well. Another wide yorker, perfectly just an inch or two inside the tramline and right on the popping crease. Jofra Archer fails to get any bat on it.

OUT! CAUGHT! Such calm under pressure from Abhishek Sharma and Nitish Kumar Reddy has delivered a stellar 19th over for his side. Reddy keeps the length full but bowls it much straighter this time. Jofra Archer can't quite under the ball and heaves it down to long on. Sharma pouches it over his head and has the presence of mind to lob it up as he is about to touch the ropes. However, he ends up not touching the ropes at all and pouches it back with ease.

Should have been a run out! Full and angling into the pads, Ferreira clips it down to the right of deep backward square leg and wants two right away. Ravindra Jadeja is a bit hesitant and Eshan Malinga in the deep throws it to the keeper. Ferreira is well in, but had Malinga thrown it to the bowler, Jadeja would have been well out.

Slower one, short of a good length and outside off. This is hit away down to long off for a single.

A bit of a bad bounce now and they get two more. Slower and shorter, angling away. Jadeja dabs it down to backward point, where Shivang Kumar gets a bad bounce and spills it behind.

Full and around off, Jadeja leans on and punches it across to wide long on for yet another brace.

And again! A fourth double in the over. Back of a length, around off, Ravindra Jadeja hangs back, waits for it and short-arm jabs it between deep mid-wicket and long on for two runs.

FOUR! A boundary off the final ball makes it 13 off the over. Full and tailing in at the toes, Jadeja manages to jam his bat down, and cue ends it fine of short fine leg for a boundary.

OUT! CAUGHT! Another one bites the dust. Eshan Malinga peppers the hard length at 141 clicks and jams it in over off and middle. Dasun Shanaka backs away to swing it leg side but gets it really high on the bat. Shanaka clubs it between long on and deep mid-wicket, and it is Abhishek Sharma from the former position, who runs to his right and takes a well-judged catch. Malinga gets his fellow Sri Lankan and RR are now 214/5.

Length again, around middle, Jadeja gets forward and pushes it straight back to the bowler.

Oh, that could easily have been a run out, but Ravindra Jadeja escapes. A skiddy short ball from Malinga, right at the throat. Jadeja leans back to pull but mistimes it to the left of mid-wicket and sets off for the single. Pat Cummins picks it up and fires in a throw at the keeper's end, but misses and Jaddu is able to make it back in.

Short again, this time Jadeja gets on top of the bounce and pulls it to deep square leg for one.

FOUR! That's streaky, and not the first time that an edge has run away to the boundary this evening. Pace on from Malinga, a bit short and wide outside off. Ferreira goes hard at the cut and gets an outside edge that flies between the keeper and the short third fielder for a boundary.

Good length on off, punched down to long off for one.

Seemed like a quick off-cutter, slightly into the pitch and angled into the batter. Parag swings across the line but misses and the ball goes off the pads, rolling into the off side. Parag isn't quite fit enough to go for a quick single here.

OUT! CAUGHT! Another timely wicket for Praful Hinge, his third of this game. Hinge hits the deck hard and just bowls it back of a length over middle. Riyan Parag hangs deep, looks to swat it over long on, but snatches at it. He hits it flat towards long on, where Heinrich Klaasen times the leap well and snaffles it with both hands. End of a breezy cameo from the RR skipper.

FOUR! Delicate touch from Dasun Shanaka, but that's down the wrong line from Hinge. Good length around the hips, Shanaka gets inside the line and tickles it past the keeper into the fine leg fence.

On the pads again, tucked away through the big gap at mid-wicket for a single this time.

Dug in short over middle, gets big on the batter. Donovan Ferreira miscues the pull into the vacant mid-wicket region and picks up a couple of handy runs.

Excellent over given the match situation, just 7 runs and a wicket off it. A yorker, just outside off, jammed out firmly towards extra cover by Ferreira.

Edgy! Angled in at the sticks, on a length, on middle. Parag tries to clip it away on the leg side with a closed bat face. The ball straightens a bit to catch the leading edge. It goes uppishly but away from the backward point fielder to his right. Parag limps but manages to come back for the second run.

Lands it on a back of a length, on middle. Riyan whips it towards wide long on for a single.

Fuller and attacking the front pad, this is driven to long on for one more.

FOUR! A fortuitous boundary for the RR skipper. Sakib keeps the stumps in play and hurls it on a length. Parag has a hoick across the line but gets a top edge and it flies over short third for a boundary. The 200 comes up for RR.

SIX! Nothing edgy about this one. Sakib goes into the surface, over middle. Parag stands tall and latches onto it. He nails the pull in front of square on the leg side for a flat six.

Bowled on a back of a length, outside off. Parag swings across for the pull. Ekes out an inside edge that goes towards short fine leg. A fumble there allows the batters to sneak in a single.

FOUR! Not in complete control, but he will take it. With this boundary, Jurel brings up 500 runs for the season. Hing directs a short ball around the left shoulder. The ball gets big on Dhruv, who swivels and manages to get it away. It goes more off the gloves but fine of the man at deep fine leg.

This is on a length, on off, Jurel dabs it into the off side for a single.

Hinge bowls the off-cutter, on a good length, on middle. Parag swipes it through square leg and turns the strike over.

SIX! Just over and that takes Dhruv Jurel to his sixth FIFTY of the season. Dhruv has perhaps been guilty at times of not quite matching the tempo set by the openers, but he has walked out with clear intent tonight and ensured the momentum has not dipped after the blazing start. Banged in short, on off, Jurel hops and reaches out to flay it towards deep backward point. Sakib Hussain leaps and sticks out the right hand but can only get fingertips it to it and the ball drops beyond the fence. The 50-run stand is also up between these two.

OUT! CAUGHT! High but not long enough. A well-directed short ball by Hinge at the bodyline of the batter. Jurel swivels for the pull but the ball also gets big on him. Dhruv gets the height but not the distance. It goes only as far as deep square leg, where Nitish Kumar Reddy settles under the skier and does the rest.

Are they going to review it? Another short ball, over middle and leg. Donovan Ferreira ducks under it. A quizzical look at the umpire by Ferreira, but he does not get the wide call. Parag at the non-striker's end was a bit reluctant to review it. The on-air commentators felt the batters had run out of time, but after a chat between the umpires, Rajasthan's review is eventually allowed to go through. Riyan felt that it was the third bouncer of the over and wanted to check the height. As it turns out, the Ball Tracking shows that the ball is below the shoulder, and it is a fair delivery. RR lose their review.

FOUR! Nitish Kumar Reddy's effort goes in vain. On the shorter side and Jurel gets the width to free his arms. He waits on the back foot and cuts it past backward point. Reddy moves to his left swiftly and dives but to no avail.

In and around the off stump, on a short of a length. A bit of extra bounce as Jurel glides it behind the wicket on the off side. He is keen for a single but Ishan Kishan dives to his right and cuts it off.

Wide! Out comes the slower, short ball, outside off. It is too high as the ball balloons over Jurel's head.

In the air...but it lands safely! Malinga hurls it on a length, outside off. With mid off inside the circle, Jurel extends his hands into the lofted hit. He does not quite get hold of it, and Heinrich Klaasen runs over his left shoulder from mid off but the ball drops out of his reach. The ball bounces in front of the boundary cushions and plugs. Klaasen is able to flick it away and prevent the boundary. Two runs taken.

Takes pace off and this is on a shortish length, outside off. Jurel reaches out and hits it towards deep point. They cross.

FOUR! Good use of the wrists. Malinga errs in both line and length. Low full toss, sliding onto the pads. Riyan clips it behind square leg and manages to beat the man in the deep to his left.

Well bowled! A bit of tail back into the right-hander, a yorker at the base of the middle stump. Parag watchfully keeps it out.

At 134.4 kph, on a back of a length, outside off. Fast hands from Jurel as he cuts it behind point but can't beat Travis Head this time.

FOUR! Nicely done! Pace taken off, angled in on a length, around off. Jurel walks across the stumps just as Pat is about to release the ball. He hangs low to get under the ball and scoops it over short fine leg for a boundary.

Pace on now, full and outside off. Jurel extends his hands and angles the drive to the right of deep point for a couple of runs.

SIX! Into the stands! Cross-seam ball, dug in short, around the right shoulder at 141 kph. Jurel swivels and parks the pull behind square leg for a biggie.

FOUR! Class written all over it. Cummins goes searching for the yorker but ends up with a half-volley, on off. Jurel springs onto the front foot and drives it all along the ground to the right of mid off for a four.

Another expensive over from the SRH skipper. Cummins pulls the length back, on off. Jurel plays the short-arm jab down to long on for a single. 17 runs off the over. Pat's figures read 3-0-51-0.

Flighted delivery, full and on middle. Jurel gets down on a knee and sweeps it through backward square leg for a single.

OUT! CAUGHT! Yashasvi Jaiswal holes out. A good little phase in the game for SRH. Shivang serves the googly, full and outside off. Jaiswal dances down the strip and manages to get to the pitch of the ball. He was intending to go inside out but ended up hitting it a lot straighter. Hits it flat and down to long off. Abhishek Sharma bends and takes the catch safely to his right.

Short and on leg, that is flicked off the back foot through square leg for a run.

SIX! Good hit. Floated up there by Shivang, a bit too full, on middle. Jurel is quick to get down on a knee and plays the slog sweep over deep square leg for a biggie.

Fine footwork! Drops it short, does Shivang, on middle and leg. Jurel rocks back and whips it wide of deep mid-wicket. Eshan Malinga covers good ground to his right in the deep and slides. He sticks out the right foot and makes the stop. Just a single.

SIX! Stand and deliver stuff! Fractionally short at 91.3 kph, it is the googly that spins away from the right-hander. Parag hangs deep in the crease and pummels it over wide long on for his first six of the night. The 150 is up for RR.

FOUR! Cracking shot. Back of a length, just outside off. Dhruv Jurel hangs back well and cuts it late, to the left of Travis Head at backward point and it goes through for a boundary. Head will feel he should have done better there.

Back of a length again, around off, dabbed past backward point for a single.

Shortish delivery, attacking the bodyline. Jaiswal leans back and tries to cutely guide it between keeeper and short third, but hits it straight to the man at short third.

Full and outside off, Jaiswal stays back, goes hard at it and carves it wide to the left of deep point for a couple of runs.

Good-length delivery, attacking off stump, Jaiswal angles it towards point. Again, Jurel wants the quick single but is sent back.

No run there either and SRH slip in another decent over, just 7 off it. A few inches shorter than good length and over middle. Jaiswal presses back and rises with the bounce, punching it straight to extra cover.

Floated full, around middle, Jaiswal lunges and eases it through mid on for a single.

A bit flatter now, around leg, Jurel presses back and dabs it wide of square leg for one more.

Play and a miss! Flatter trajectory, a bit full and darted outside off. Jaiswal gets low to cut but misses.

Length, on off, Jaiswal shows the full face of the bat and punches it down to long off for a run.

Oh, gets a hand on it, does Shivang Kumar, and that will sting a bit as well. Full and flat, dished outside off. Dhruv Jurel goes on one knee, drags it straight back, with power. Shivang sticks out his left hand and deflects it to mid off for a single. That's a certain boundary saved, rather than a dropped catch.

Flighted ball, outside off, tapped away towards cover. Jurel wants the single, but Jaiswal rightly says no. That is the first over of this innings without a boundary.

Back of a length, on off, Jaiswal punches it off the back foot to extra cover for a single.

SIX! That's a stylish hit from Vaibhav now. Full and attacking the toes, a bit too full though. Sooryavanshi takes the front leg out and nonchalantly flicks it over deep mid-wicket for a maximum. The 100-run stand is up between the RR openers as well.

WIDE! Hinge looks to go for the wide yorker, but spills it just beyond the tramline outisde off stump.

FOUR! No one in the deep square on the off side, and that's not an ideal delivery to bowl with that field. Fractionally short but wide outside off. Sooryavanshi is able to free his arms and thrashes it over the point region for a boundary.

NO BALL AND FOUR! Ominous signs for SRH and even the beamer has gone for four. A very high full toss, right around the rib cage. Sooryavanshi fends it away well and manages to get it to the left of short fine leg for four runs. Free Hit loading...

SIX! Sooryavanshi has zoomed into the 90s, and the fastest IPL ton is surely on the cards now. A low full toss, on middle. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi hangs deep and hoicks it away in front of mid-wicket for another biggie.

SIX! This is just ridiculous hitting now, but it was there to be hit as well. A full-length ball outside off, right in the slot. Sooryavanshi just swings through the line and nails it over long off for a biggie. 97 off just 28 balls. Chris Gayle holds the record for the fastest IPL ton in 30 balls, and that is in danger now.

OUT! CAUGHT! Would you believe it? Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is standing there, in absolute disbelief, and so is the crowd, but he has to walk back on 97, and Chris Gayle can breathe a sigh of relief. Praful Hinge bangs it in quick and short, wide outside off. Sooryavanshi throws his hands at it and gets it off the outer half of the blade. The ball flies down to deep third, where Ravichandran Smaran runs in off the ropes and dives to snaffle it. That's the end of one of the most memorable knocks in IPL history.

Good length, slanted across off. Sooryavanshi pushes it off the higher part of the blade and to the right of mid off for a single.

FOUR! Jaiswal's done extremely well to reach it. Dug in halfway into the pitch, over off. Yashasvi Jaiswal gets on his toes, reaches out with his willow and manages to get enough of a connection to angle it between the keeper and short third for a boundary.

Goes back to hitting a good length, does Hussain. Serves it on middle and Jaiswal plays it back to the bowler.

Direct hit, but Sooryavanshi is safe! Full and outside off, jammed to the right of the point fielder by Jaiswal and the batters set off for the single. Shivang Kumar is a bit slow to pick it up, but hits the bullseye at the keeper's end. Sooryavanshi is well home, though.

FOUR! Just short of the ropes. Slower ball, back of a length and on leg. Sooryavanshi waits well and wallops the pull, doesn't time it greatly, but finds the vacant fence at deep backward square leg.

SIX! No problem with the connection on this occasion. Another off-pace delivery, sliding it across the left-hander. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi leans to the off side, gets low and inside the line and picks it handsomely over long leg for another biggie.

Beaten! Hinge dishes out a fullish delivery, darting it wide of the off stump. Yashasvi Jaiswal slashes and slashes hard, but fails to lay a bat on it.

Hinge hits the length hard, bowling it over the top of off stump. Jaiswal leans back to smack it downtown but finds the fielder at mid off.

FOUR! A well-manufactured shot from Jaiswal. Predictable line and length, just outside off. Yashasvi Jaiswal reads it well, shuffles across and forces the scoop over short fine leg and picks up a boundary. Not the prettiest of shots, though.

Hard length on off, shanked away towards cover for a quick single. The fielder over there scampers to his right, but fails to collect the ball cleanly.

A low full toss on leg stump, Sooryavanshi crouches a bit and slogs it across to deep mid-wicket for a single. Decent over so far from Praful.

Hinge does well to end the Powerplay with a tidy over, just 6 off it. He goes for the yorker outside off, Jaiswal backs away and ends up squeezing it down to short third. Still, RR are flying high at 80/0 after 6 overs.

FOUR! Lovely shot! On a hard length, on off. Jaiswal gets on his toes and punches it neatly through covers for a boundary.

Hurls it on a shortish length, on off. Jaiswal cuts it to deep point for a single.

FOUR! Carved away! This is on a length, angled away from the left-hander. Sooryavanshi angles the bat face and swings at it to split the fielders at point and cover and pick up a boundary.

Low full toss, at the sticks, this is knocked to long on for a single.

Good stop! Bowled on a nagging length, on off. Jaiswal punches it off the back foot between cover and mid off. Pat Cummins sprints and dives to his right to save a certain boundary. Keeps the batters down to a single.

Edgy! Keeps the stumps in play, and the length is full this time. Sooryavanshi tries to turn it away on the leg side but he closes the bat face early. Gets a soft leading edge and it dribbles past the stumps at the bowling end.

Starts well, does Sakib. Gets the yorker in at the base of the off stump. Vaibhav digs it out to cover.

SIX! Wow, that is a shot and a half. Out comes the off-cutter from Hussain, on a good length, angling away. Sooryavanshi picks the slower one and waits for the ball to arrive. He presents a high elbow and goes inside out over cover for a six. 59th six of the season for the youngster. Vaibhav is now level with Chris Gayle for most sixes in an IPL season.

A swing and a miss. Pace on now, very full and near the tramline. Sooryavanshi throws his hands at the ball and is beaten for pace.

And again! Off-cutter bowled into the surface, outside off. Vaibhav swivels for the pace but is undone by the slowness of the ball and the ball sneaks under the willow.

SIX! High and long enough! Hussain dishes it out on a length, off-cuttter, on off. Vaibhav holds his shape as he hangs back and thumps it over long off with a clean swing of the arms. Six number 60 for Sooryavanshi. With this, Vaibhav has overtaken Chris Gayle for most sixes in a single IPL season.

SIX! Vaibhav Sooryavanshi goes back-to-back to bring up a 16-ball FIFTY. This has been ball-striking of the highest order. As many as 8 sixes and just a solitary four in this knock. Hussain goes short, on middle. He fails to get it high enough to trouble Vaibhav, who swivels and parks it over square leg with a pull for a biggie.

Fine stop! Cummins hurls it on a back of a length, on off. Jaiswal stands tall on top of the bounce and punches it neatly towards cover. Shivang Kumar moves to his left and puts in a dive to save at least a couple of runs for his side. Just a single.

FOUR! Banged away! Pat delivers it full, on off. Sooryavanshi gets his hands through the line and drills it down the ground. Travis Head is placed at a straight mid off but he is a mere spectator. The ball flies well wide of him to his right and races into the fence. Vaibhav brings up 600 runs this season.

Wide! Play and a miss! Well wide on off, Vaibhav lets it go.

SIX! All the way! Pat slips in a full ball, on middle and leg. Sooryavanshi clears the front leg and he does not try to overhit this one. Just checks his lofted hit with a straight bat and goes over mid on for a flat six.

SIX MORE! Not quite from the middle but it does the job for the youngster. Cummins digs it in short and pushes it across the left-hander. Sooryavanshi lets the ball come to him and uses the angle to flay it over backward point. It comes more off the lower half of the blade but he gets enough bat on it to clear the fence.

SIX! Make that a hat-trick of sixes from Sooryavanshi. Cummins is being taken to the cleaners. Pat takes pace off and bowls it on a length, keeping it away from the batter's arc. Vaibhav reaches out and slams it back over the bowler's head. It bounces just beyond the boundary cushions for yet another six. 24 runs off the over with a ball to go.

Nails the yorker, at the toes. Sooryavanshi jams it out through mid on and keeps the strike with a single. 25 runs off the over!

Hits the deck hard, angling away. Jaiswal punches it on the up without much timing to cover.

FOUR! Off the edge! This is on a good length, outside off. Jaiswal throws the kitchen sink at it. It flies off a thickish outside edge and goes wide of the man at short third to his right for a boundary.

Beaten! Tighter line, closer to the off stump, on a back of a length. Jaiswal hangs back and looks to push it away. The ball kisses the deck and skids through to beat the southpaw for pace.

Lands it on a hard length, on off. Jaiswal arches back and flays it down to deep backward point for a single.

Missed out! A bit of shape back into the left-hander, low full toss, on the pads. Sooryavanshi tries to work it away on the leg side but gets an inside edge onto the pads.

SIX! That has gone back a long way. Malinga bends his back and serves a bumper at the bodyline of the batter. Sooryavanshi pivots and gets inside the line of the ball. He hooks it way beyond the long leg fence for half a dozen.

Hit too straight! Cummins steams in from over the wicket and pitches it up, on off. Jaiswal brings his bat out in front and firms the drive down the strip. Pat can't lay a hand or a foot on the ball, and it crashes into the sticks at the bowling end.

Shaping back in at the pads and the length stays full. Jaiswal's head falls over to the off side as he attempts the flick. Ekes out an inside edge onto the pads. The ball drops in front of square leg and the batters cross over. Yashasvi and the Royals are underway.

Pat nails the yorker in line with the middle stump. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi hurriedly gets his bat down and digs it out to mid off.

Another yorker by the SRH skipper. This is just outside the off stump. Sooryavanshi squeezes it out towards mid off and hurries to the other end. 'Hold, hold' is the call from Pat, but Shivang Kumar still has a shy at the bowling end. It rolls down to deep square leg but it does not cost SRH any extra runs.

Drags the length back and pushes it across the left-hander. Jaiswal gets on top of the bounce and slaps it to deep point for a single.

SIX! Sooryavanshi comes up with the first six of the Eliminator. Cummins switches to around the wicket and goes searching for the yorker. Dishes it out right in the slot, on off. Sooryavanshi puts his head down, swings through the line and pumps it back over the bowler's head for a six.
