Despite all their batting bravado from the Indian team, the visitors are in a position from where they can win this match quite effortlessly. However, with only one day left in the game, there is a big chance that the weather could spoil NZ's plan to steal a big win here.

As per the Bengaluru weather forecast, there is a high chance of rain on Sunday and it is most likely going to play spoil sport on the fifth and final day of the 1st Test. As per a report from Accuweather, the precipitation chance will go as high as 80 per cent. It predicts a mostly cloudy sky with thunderstorms.
If rain does spoil the match, it can be good news in disguise for the Indian team as persistent rain can force this game to head towards a draw and help the Indian side avoid a potential loss.
New Zealand only need 107 runs to win
On a thrilling Day 4 of the first Test, New Zealand overturned India's bold comeback, showcasing the inherent unpredictability and drama of Test cricket. India battled back after being bowled out for a humiliating 46 in the first innings, only to be undone by a late attack from the seamers of New Zealand with the second new ball.
Day four of the opening Test saw India bowled out for 462 in their second innings, despite a magnificent 150 from Sarfaraz Khan and a quick-fire 99 from Rishabh Pant. This left New Zealand with a manageable target of 107 to win this match.
