The 26-year-old year has become the 16th Indian batsman to score a century on debut. He joins the likes of Lala Amarnath, Mohammad Azharuddin, Rohit Sharma in a notable company. When it comes to Kanpur, Shreyas has become the second player to score a hundred on debut at Green Park stadium. Gundappa Viswanath is the only other to have the accolade to his name.
