IND vs NZ, 3rd ODI: Will final match be washed out or will fans see an India whitewash?

India have a chance of sealing a consecutive ODI series whitewashes when they take on New Zealand in the final match of their ongoing 50-over series at the Holkar Stadium in Indore on Tuesday, January 24.

The series has already been wrapped up in the neat little bow by Team India when they beat the Kiwis by eight wickets in the second ODI on Saturday, January 21. Meanwhile, the visitors will hope to gain some crucial momentum ahead of the T20I series and avoid a series whitewash.

But before the match kicks off, we take a close look at the weather forecast in the beautiful city of Indore, and if the rain will play spoilsport

India vs New Zealand weather report
Fans will be delighted to know that rain is not expected to affect the match as both the teams will be expected to produce a good game of cricket on Tuesday. The temperature is expected to reach a high point of 27° celsius, with the lowest being close to 13.

The toss is expected to take place around 1 pm, and then, the temperature is slated to touch 25° celsius.

The humidity is expected to rise up to 63% as the day progresses but this is not going to amount to much rain, although dew might factor into the match. The cloud cover at the beginning of the day as well is 31% and it is expected to drop as the game goes on.

ODI ranking at stake
For India, who closed out their series victory after the ODI win on Saturday in Raipur there stands a chance to move to the top on the ODI rankings, above New Zealand and England. The three sides are currently tied on a rating of 113 and a win on Tuesday for the hosts will give them the No.1 spot.
