Watch: Shadab Khan abuses on stump mic after getting out; has hilarious conversation about ‘Ben Stokes’ afterwards

Islamabad United's skipper Shadab Khan was seen cussing after getting dismissed in a Pakistan Super League (PSL) match against Multan Sultans at the Rawalpindi on Tuesday (March 7). Shadab Khan played an instrumental role in United's nine-run victory over Mohammad Rizwan-led side with his blistering 44 off 25. However, it was a herculean task for the Men in Red who were chasing a Multans' daunting target of 206.  After losing both of their openers inside the powerplay, Colin Munro combined with captain Shadab Khan to weave an important 59-run partnership. Munro was sent to pavilion after scoring a quickfire 40 off 21 but Shadab continued his onslaught. The beast Azam Khan walked in next but failed to score big this time and was given the marching orders after scoring mere 3 runs. Shadab Khan found a perfect ally in Faheem Ashraf who bolstered United's innings with his calculative knock. When everything looked stable, Shadab lost his wicket. After batting confidently and hitting some big shots, Shadab eventually dismissed by an unplayable delivery bowled by Ihsanullah, which shattered his stumps.

Apparently Shadab Khan looked livid after losing his wicket at such a crucial juncture of the match. Right after getting out, he was seen abusing loudly using a cussing word 'B*** c**d' which the stump mic caught clearly.

The right-hand batsman posted a story on his Instagram handle and congratulated his team, especially Faheem Ashraf, on leading his side towards victory. Jimmy Neesham took no time and reacted hilariously to his stump mic outburst saying, “Why’d you shout at Ben Stokes when you got out?”

"@jimmyneesham because I was missing him," Shadab replied.

However, the star all-rounder Faheem, who started aggressively with the bat and scored blistering match-winning 51 runs from 26 deliveries, including five fours and two massive sixes to help United eke out a thrilling win from the jaws of defeat.

United will next take on Lahore Qalandars in the top-of-the-table clash on Thursday, March 9.
