Pakistan tour of Sri Lanka 2022

Underterred by rain and bad light, Sri Lanka posted a humungous 508-run target in front of Pakistan and later skittled them out for a lowly 261 with a session to spare in the second innings on Day 5 of the second Test at the Galle International Stadium on Thursday.

Shaheen Afridi once again dazzled with the ball as he scalped four-fer to skittle out Sri Lanka to mere 222 on Day 1 of the first Test at the Galle International Stadium on Saturday (July 16).

Pakistan skipper Babar Azam shimmered again with the willow in the ongoing first Test match against Sri Lanka at Galle International Stadium on Sunday as he struck his seventh century in the longest form of the game. Babar's 119 off 244 pulled Pakistan from the brink of batting collapse which helped the visitors post a respectable 218 as Sri Lanka finished the Day 2 at 36/1, leading the game by 40 runs.

The second Test between Pakistan and Sri Lanka has been moved to Galle from the capital city Colombo, the Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) board announced on Sunday.

Pakistan pulled off a record-breaking run chase at Galle International Stadium on July 20.

Opener Abdullah Shafique hit an unbeaten 112, with the contribution helping Pakistan to a score of 223-3 in their chase of 342 to defeat Sri Lanka in the first test at Galle Stadium on Tuesday, July 19.
