Three Indians were among the ICC awards winner list for the year 2004. Jasprit Bumrah won two awards.

The International Cricket Council presented the last award winners from its 2024 list on January 28 (Tuesday). Jasprit Bumrah and Amelia Kerr were recognized by the ICC as the best players of 2024 across formats and were presented with the Garfield Sobers and Rachael Heyhoe Flint trophies.

India's premium fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has become the first pacer and fifth overall player from Indian cricket team to win the prestigious ICC men's Cricketer Of The Year title also known as Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy. He also won the Test Cricketer Of The Year title for his astonishing performance with the red ball in the year 2024.

Jasprit Bumrah won the coveted Sir Garfield Sobers Award after outclassing fierce competition from Travis Head, Joe Root, and Harry Brook. In 13 games, the pacer took 71 wickets, the most of any bowler in 2024.
