It was a dominant batting display from the 35-year-old, who t ook the South African bowlers to the cleaners with his powerful shots.
Buttler's stunning knock included 8 boundaries and 7 towering sixes. He played a big role in England posting a mammoth total of 304/2 in 20 overs. Notably, this is the highest-ever score posted by a full-member nation in a T20I innings.
Buttler now stands just 4 sixes away from surpassing legendary New Zealand batter Martin Guptill. If he does so, then he will become the player with the third-most maximums in T20I history. Notably, Buttler is the onlyu English player in the top 10.
