Pat Cummins to Marcus Stoinis: List of injured Australian players ahead of ICC Champions Trophy 2025

The deadline to make changes to the Champions Trophy 2025 squad is February 11. Mitchell Marsh is already ruled out whereas a final update on skipper Pat Cummins and Josh Hazlewood is expected in a next few days.

Mitchell Marsh

1. Pace-bowling all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has been ruled out of the tournament due to back injury. His replacement is yet to be named. Beau Webster is one of the prominent candidates to replace him. 
 

Pat Cummins, Virat Kohli

2. Skipper Pat Cummins sustained an ankle injury during Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. He is not part of the two-Test series against Sri Lanka. Australia head coach Andrew McDonald said that Cummins is "heavily unlikely" to play in Champions Trophy 2025.

3. All-rounder Marcus Stoinis pulled his right hamstring during SA20 2025 clash for Durban Super Giants. He played their dead rubber encounter but did not bowl. An update on the extend of injury suffered by Stoinis is awaited.
 

Josh Hazlewood

4. Australia pacer Josh Hazlewood who is struggling with a hip issue is doubtful for Champions Trophy 2025. McDonald said that in a few days' time, there will be an update on Hazlewood as well. Spencer Johnson may replace him in the squad.
