Sarfaraz Khan extended his purple patch in domestic cricket by blasting yet another stunning century in the ongoing Ranji Trophy Group B match between Delhi and Mumbai on Tuesday (January 18). The star Mumbai batter has been doing this wizardry for a while now but despite his back-to-back blitz he hasn't earned his India call-up so far.

Moreover, Sarfaraz wasn't even considered once for India's squad for the upcoming Test series against Australia which is slated to start from February 9.

Riding on 16 fours and four sixes, the 25-year-old cracked 125 off 155 for Delhi in the match against Mumbai on Tuesday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, which has again stirred the debate around his inclusion in India's Test squad.

Time and again, Sarfaraz has proved his batting prowess in the red-ball game in the domestic circuit which has also seen many cricket pundits rooting for his addition in the India's Test setup. Former India star cricketer Venkatesh Prasad also threw his weight behind Sarfaraz and took a dig at the Board of Control for Cricket in Indian (BCCI) for his continuous snub.

Reacting to Sarfaraz's stellar innings, Prasad took to his Twitter to come down heavily on BCCI and wrote,“Not having him in the Test Team despite 3 blockbuster domestic seasons is not only unfair on Sarfaraz Khan, but it’s an abuse to domestic cricket, almost as if this platform doesn’t matter. And he is FIT to score those runs. As far as body weight goes, there are many with more kgs.”
