The second edition of the Road Safety World Series 2022 is all set to kick off on Saturday, September 10, in Kanpur and will see the defending champions India Legends take on the South African Legends in the first match of the tournament. The tournament, which will be bigger than the previous season, will have eight teams this year.

 

In addition to the India Legends and South Africa Legends, England Legends, Australia Legends, West Indies Legends, New Zealand Legends, Sri Lanka Legends and Bangladesh Legends will all battle it out for the eventual prize. Of these eight, four will make it to the semifinals to be held on September 28 and 29 respectively, with the final to be held on October 1. The Road Safety World Series 2022 India Squad is given below

 

The first set of road safety world series 2022 matches will take place at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur before the teams move to the Holkar Stadium in Indore. After the third set of matches takes place in Dehradun, the teams move to Raipur for the final two league stage matches, the semifinals and the final.

Format explained
 

Format of the Road Safety World Series 2022 competition:

 

All eight teams will only play five matches each. This means that India will not play Sri Lanka and Australia. Meanwhile, there will be four rest days in between the matches.

 

When and where to watch the Road Safety World Series 2022?


Most matches (18) will kick off at 7:30 PM IST, and the remaining five league stage matches will start at 3:30 PM IST. The top four teams will qualify for the semifinals, which will be played in Raipur on September 28 and 29, respectively. The winners will advance to the final scheduled for October 1 at the same venue, as mentioned above.
