The fans at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Dehradun witnessed Sachin Tendulkar roll back the clock and play a thunderous knock on September 22 (Thursday) during the match between India Legends and England Lands. In a game that was reduced to 15-overs-a-side, the legendary batter gave India a fantastic start as he toyed with the English bowlers.

The right-handed batter scored 40 runs in just 20 balls before Chris Schofield ended a innings that saw Sachin play some audacious shots. During his knock, Sachin smashed three fours and as many sixes. The 'Master Blaster' took a special liking to England pacers and used the crease masterfully. Be it crouching low and scooping the ball over the fine-leg fence for a six or dancing down the wicket and dismissing the cherry over the long-on fence, Sachin looked in devastating touch.

Sachin registered a 65-run alliance with Naman Ojha for the first wicket and ensured India enjoyed a stellar start in a rain-hit match. Yusuf Pathan (27 runs off 11 balls) smashed three sixes during his knock and ensured momentum stayed with India Legends. Yuvraj Singh (31 not out off 15 balls) also powered three maximums during his explosive knock and provided the finishing touches to the innings.

On the back of Sachin's masterclass, combined with the brisk cameos from Yusuf and Yuvraj, India Legends posted a monumental score of 170-5 in 15 overs.
