'I don't deserve credit for Umran's hard work, it's completely his success': Father Abdul Rashid after pacer's inclusion in India squad
Umran Malik's dream came true on Sunday when he was picked in the India's squad for the five-match T20I series against South Africa. Umran's made the right noise in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 by putting up some sensational performances as his hard work finally paid off. Although, it wasn't a surprise as Umran, after his 21 wickets and propensity to make a mockery of the speed gun radar, was always in contention. Meanwhile, Umran's father, Abdul Rashid, was so overwhelmed that he was having difficulty in expressing his thoughts eloquently. It was a different Sunday evening after all. Very different from what he has known in his more than five decades of existence.
