Women's Asia Cup 2026 official fixtures announced

Both Asian powerhouses share Group A alongside Thailand and Hong Kong China, while Group B comprises Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, the UAE, and Indonesia. The continental tournament launches on August 28 with an opening encounter between Thailand and Hong Kong China, followed by India kickstarting their campaign against Thailand on August 30.

Every fixture throughout the event will feature a 6:30 pm local start time in Dubai. Following the group stage, the top teams will clash in the semi-finals across September 10 and 11, leading up to the championship final on September 13.

India enter this edition of the tournament aiming to extend their dominant record by capturing an eighth Women’s Asia Cup trophy. By contrast, Pakistan are still searching for their maiden continental crown, having previously finished as runners-up to India in both the 2012 and 2016 finals.

Historical head-to-head stats heavily favor the Indian side, with Pakistan securing just a single victory over their rivals across all T20I Asia Cup encounters, which came back in 2022. India further reinforced their upper hand in the rivalry during their most recent meeting at this year's Women’s T20 World Cup, securing a decisive 64-run group-stage triumph to keep their strong momentum intact.
