Actor Mahira Sharma has recently made headlines for both her professional and personal lives. However, the celebrity herself acknowledged that the rumors circulating in the media regarding her personal life appear to be unfounded. The star has finally spoken out about her rumoured romantic involvement with cricketer Mohammed Siraj.

Mahira was questioned about fans' comments over the news of her dating Mohammed Siraj in an interview with Filmy Gyan. "Kisi ka kuch nahi hai" (There is nothing). I'm not dating anyone" was Mahira's reply.

"Fans can connect you with anyone. We can't stop them. When I work, I am linked to them (co-stars) too. They make edits and all. But I don't give much importance to all this. If you like this, do it, but there is nothing like this," she said
According to a report by ETimes last month, Mahira and Siraj remain "hush-hush" about their romance. The article states that they had been getting to know one another for the previous few months. After Siraj liked one of Mahira's Instagram postings and the two began following each other, dating rumors began to circulate.
Mohammed Siraj has not been part of the Indian team since the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He was not included in the squads for the white-ball series against England and later the Champions Trophy. He was named among the untravelling reserve for the Men in Blue.
India is currently facing Australia in the semi-final of the ongoing edition of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 which is being played in Dubai, on March 4.
