Former Pakistan captain Moin Khan suggested the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to honour ICC commitments amid India's uncertainty of travelling to Pakistan for the upcoming Champions Trophy. He also said that if India refused to travel to Pakistan for the marquee event then the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) should also take a stand by not participating in future tournaments hosted by India.
Pakistan are the host of the Champions Trophy 2025 and BCCI have not yet taken a call on sending team India to the neighbouring nation.
During an interview with Cricket Pakistan (quoted by Zee News), he said, “India must honour ICC commitments, and if they don't, Pakistan should also consider taking a stand by not participating in future tournaments in India”.
Earlier, Pakistan were the hosts of Asia Cup 2023 but BCCI denied sending team India to Pakistan citing players' safety after that tournament was played in a hybrid model where India-centric matches were played in Sri Lanka.

Moin urged Indian cricketing legends like Sachin Tendulkar to tell BCCI that keep politics away from cricket. He said that the matches between India and Pakistan will benefit fans.
"People like Sachin Tendulkar should tell their cricket-controlling body to keep politics away from cricket. Cricket should not be obstructed by political issues. The sport and its fans stand to benefit greatly from matches between India and Pakistan," Khan added.
India last travelled to Pakistan was back in 2008 for the Asia Cup where Men in Blue faced Sri Lanka in the final at National Stadium in Karachi under MS Dhoni's leadership. On the other hand, Pakistan travelled to India for the ODI World Cup 2023 where Babar Azam-led side failed to qualify for the semifinal. They finished the tournament with just four wins out of their nine outings.
