Ex-KKR star rules out of PSL 2025 due to this reason

Premier batter Litton Das has suffered an injury that would prevent him from playing in the forthcoming Pakistan Super League season, which is a huge blow for the Karachi Kings. The elegant Bangladeshi top-order batsman used his official social media account to announce the news. The Karachi Kings selected Litton Das in the most recent PSL 2025 draft. Before their first game in the competition, the star batter had also joined the team.

But during one of the practice sessions, the right-handed batter hurt his finger. He had scans done right away, and the results showed that his finger had a tiny fracture. For this reason, Litton has returned home by plane and will not be attending the main event.

"Hope you all are well. I was truly excited to play in the PSL for Karachi Kings, but the Almighty had other plans. During a practice session, I picked up a finger injury. Scans revealed a hairline fracture, and recovery will take at least 2 weeks. So sadly, my PSL mission is over before it even began. I'm flying back to Bangladesh and seeking your prayers & love for a quick recovery. Wishing the very best of luck to my team Karachi Kings," Litton posted on Facebook.

The PSL 2025 began yesterday, with defending champions Islamabad United swatting aside Lahore Qalandars comfortably in the tournament opener. Two matches have been scheduled for today; while Peshawar will face Quetta in the afternoon, Karachi will take on Multan Sultans in the evening affair.
