In a series of usual moments, former India fielding coach T Dilip has expressed his admiration towards Virat Kohli. The former India coach believes that Virat's batting ability is not the only thing to admire, as he is also an exceptional fielder even at the age of 37. The star India batter continues to remain super fit despite featuring in only one format of the game.
T Dilip praises Virat Kohli's fielding skills
Dilip further noted Kohli's ability to lift the energy of those around him, stating that his extremely high intensity often motivates his teammates to work their skillset. He explained that whenever Kohli takes the field, his approach motivates at least five other players to go beyond their usual limits.

Dilip, who concluded his nearly five-year association with the Indian team after the England series, praised Kohli for playing an important role in raising the team's standards in the field. He pointed out that the former India captain approaches practice session with the same energy and commitment that he displays during competitive games.
In an interaction with JioHotstar, Dilip claimed that Virat always stays at the same level, as intensity is non-negotiable for him at any stage of the game. The former fielding coach praised Virat's amazing reflex at the ground.
“When it comes to Virat Kohli, intensity is non-negotiable. You have seen him in the powerplay, how he is at a batter, whether at cover or short mid-wicket, with his reflexes and with his dives, is admirable," said T Dilip.
“Even in the last series, he was putting in those dives and was sharp, always at you all the time. Even at this juncture of his career, he runs from long-on to long-on at either end during the death overs and he is the first one to run out of the circle when the field is spread and that is a fabulous thing to do for the team," added Dilip.
Virat's performance in the ODI series vs England
In the recently concluded three-match ODI series against England, the former India skipper managed to put in some amazing performances against the Three Lions. In three outings, Virat managed to score a total of 144 runs at an average of 48.00 with a strike rate of 109.09.
Unfortunately, despite recording two half-centuries in the series Virat failed to score a century. In the third and final ODI at the iconic Lord's Virat recorded his top score of 74 off just 59 deliveries.
