Ravichandran Ashwin will be felicitated at BCCI's Naman Awards 2025.

Cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar is set to be conferred with a lifetime achievement award at BCCI's Naman Awards 2025 on Saturday, 1st February 2025, in Mumbai. The 51-year-old Tendulkar played 664 international games for India and holds the record for the highest number of Test and ODI runs in the history of the game.

Tendulkar's 200 Test and 463 ODI appearances are also the highest by any player in the history of the game. He amassed 15,921 Test runs besides a whopping 18,426 in ODIs.

However, he played only one T20 International in his stellar career.

Jasprit Bumrah to be conferred with Polly Umrigar Award

Apart from Tendulkar, India speedter Jasprit Bumrah will also receive the prestigious Polly Umrigar Award for Best International Cricketer (Men) for his phenomenal performances in 2024. Bumrah is currently ranked number 1 in ICC Test rankings picking 71 wickets in 13 Tests last year, the highest by any bowler in the last year. He was awarded Player of the Series for his iconic performance in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 picking 32 wickets. He was also awarded Player of the Tournament for his 15 wickets at an astonishing average of 8.26 and an economy of just 4.17 as India lifted the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024.

Smriti Mandhana

India vice-captain Smriti Mandhana who is currently in the form of her life is set to receive the Best International Cricketer in the women’s category for the fourth time. This will be the fourth time that Smriti has been conferred with that award. She previously won the award in 2017-18, 2020-21, and 2021-22 seasons - and finished 2024 with ODI centuries against New Zealand, and Australia, and two consecutive centuries against South Africa. She scored 747 ODI runs at an impressive average of 57.46. She thrived in red-ball cricket too, registering her second career Test century against Protea Women in Chennai. She was impressive in the shortest format as well, amassing 763 runs in 21 innings with eight half-centuries.

Mumbai Cricket Association

The Mumbai Cricket Association will also receive the award for Best Performance in BCCI Domestic Tournaments of 2023-24 for having won the Ranji Trophy for a record 42nd time. They also emerged as champions of the Senior Women's T20 Trophy, Vijay Merchant Trophy and the Women's U19 One Day Trophy.

Ravichandran Ashwin

The BCCI will also felicitate former India off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin for his iconic career. Ashwin has announced his international retirement after the third Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
