Electing to bowl first, the Rockets skittled their opponents for a paltry 91 inside 91 balls. The chase proved to be a mere formality, with captain Ash Gardner sealing the emphatic eight-wicket victory by driving a boundary through the off-side with 46 balls still in hand.

The match belonged to off-spinning all-rounder Georgia Adams, whose stellar field presence and bowling (2-15 off nine deliveries) broke the back of the Sunrisers' innings in her fifth Hundred final appearance. Beyond stumping key batter Annabel Sutherland for 25, Adams held a sharp short-fine-leg catch to remove the dangerous Phoebe Litchfield for 10, before later executing a brilliant direct hit from cover to run out Jess Jonassen for a duck.
In response, the Rockets blew away the low target thanks to a blistering start from Sophia Dunkley (41 off 23) and Beth Mooney (31* off 21). The duo launched a assault during the 25-ball powerplay, racing to 45 runs and putting on a 69-run opening stand. Although Dunkley fell just short of a fourth half-century of the tournament when she chipped Dani Gibson to short cover with only 23 runs required, the early damage ensured the Rockets cruised across the finish line without breaking a sweat.
Sunrisers' batting unit crumbled under pressure, with only skipper Gibson (22) and Sutherland pushing past the 20-run mark. After an early collapse left them reeling at 24-3 within 19 deliveries, the defending champions completely unravelled, dropping their final seven wickets for a meager 35 runs once Deepti Sharma was cleaned up for 12.

Trent Rockets delivered a bowling masterclass to claim their seventh consecutive victory. Kim Garth set the tone early by striking twice in consecutive legal balls to remove Bryony Smith and Lauren Winfield-Hill for single-digit scores. The pressure never relented as Charley Phillips (2-12) and Samantha Bates (2-17) picked up two wickets apiece, with Bates taking her tournament tally to 13.

A brief counter-attack provided Sunrisers' only bright spot, featuring the innings' lone six from Sutherland alongside a few boundaries from Gibson off Garth's looser deliveries. However, it did little to turn the tide. Sunrisers—who won last year's title under the Northern Superchargers moniker by upsetting Southern Brave—could not replicate their big-game magic against the runaway league leaders. Unlike their tight five-run loss to the Rockets at Trent Bridge earlier in the month, Sunrisers were completely outclassed on the big stage. The only tiny blip in an otherwise flawless coronation for the Rockets was Nat Sciver-Brunt falling early, trapped lbw by Sutherland for four before the rest of the lineup wrapped up the dominant win.
