Former India captain Virat Kohli who made his Ranji Trophy comeback after more than a decade has been felicitated by the Delhi & District Cricket Association (DDCA). The DDCA president presented a memento to Kohli for his Ranji outing at Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi.
Kohli made his comeback in the Ranji Trophy after the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) 10 points guideline where they made it mandatory for national players to feature in domestic cricket when they are out from international action. DDCA felicitated Kohli for playing 100 Tests for India.
Before the Ranji Trophy match, Kohli was in Australia with Team India for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25 where he smashed an unbeaten ton in the first Test match in Perth but the batting great failed to get the momentum further as he ended the five-Test match series scoring just 190 runs.
