In a series of shocking events, former India skipper MS Dhoni grabbed everyone's attention on Monday, August 3 after being spotted riding a superbike around the Madras International Circuit in Irungattukottai, on the outskirts of Chennai. The former CSK captain was present at the venue for a TVS Eurogrip promotional event, where he took several high-speed laps to test the company's premium motorcycle tyres before later meeting with brand representatives and other stakeholders.

A video clip from the event has been making rounds across all over social media platforms, capturing Dhoni enjoying every moment of his ride at the international racing circuit. The former India skipper was seen riding his superbike at high speed during the series of laps before going back to the pit lane.

The event was a perfect showcase of Dhoni's long-standing love for superbikes. Since the end of IPL 2026, the former India skipper has tried to stay away from the limelight, spending time at his hometown Ranchi. Although he was seen in England, as he enjoyed watching India's T20I and ODI games against the Three Lions last month.

Will MS Dhoni play for CSK in IPL 2027?

However, clouds of uncertainty continue to hover around MS Dhoni's IPL future. While many believe the Chennai Super Kings legend could return for one last season in 20276, others feel he may have already played his final game with the Yellow Army, with the veteran yet to make any official announcement regarding his retirement.

In the 2026 edition, Dhoni was a part of the Chennai Super Kings squad but injury problems made him sit on the bench throughout the season. The former India skipper also skipped the team's away fixtures, leaving thousands of CSK supporters disappointed as they had turned up in large numbers hoping to see the legendary wicketkeeper in action.
