In line with the multi-city caravan format, all 22 fixtures of WPL 2027—comprising 20 league stage encounters and 2 playoff clashes—will be split evenly, with 11 games assigned to each city. To ensure prime-time coverage and consistent viewing schedules, every match throughout the tournament is set for a 7:30 PM IST start.
The season kicks off in Vadodara on Thursday, January 14, 2027. Following a rest day on January 25, the tournament shifts to Mumbai for its final phase. The iconic Cricket Club of India (Brabourne Stadium) will serve as the host venue for the remaining 11 matches starting January 26. The Mumbai leg will conclude the double round-robin league stage on February 3, determining the three franchises that will advance to the postseason.
The tournament format remains unchanged, rewarding consistent performance throughout the league phase. The team that finishes at the top of the points table after the 20 league encounters will earn direct qualification into the showpiece final.
Meanwhile, the teams occupying the second and third positions will lock horns in the high-pressure Eliminator on Friday, February 5 at the Brabourne Stadium to decide the second finalist. Following a rest day on February 6, the title match will take place on Sunday, February 7 at Mumbai's Brabourne Stadium, crowning the champions of the 2027 season.
