Uttar Pradesh pacer Yash Dayal, India spinner Jayant Yadav and proven domestic performer Dharmendrasingh Jadeja are set to represent Chattisgarh as guest players for the upcoming 2026-27 domestic season.
As per a report by News18 CricketNext, Dayal is waiting for a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association (UPCA) to leave his team after seven seasons.
The experienced domestic trio were already seen in Chattisgarh's pre-season fitness camp in Karnataka's Alur. They trained under their new head coach, former India batter Amay Khurasiya who has 12 ODI caps.

“The BCCI allows every association to induct up to three guest players every season. Ahead of the 2026-27 season, the CSCS selection committee picked Yash Dayal, along with Jayant Yadav and Dharmendrasinh Jadeja, to add more firepower to the team," sources told the publication.
“Obviously, the selection of the players will be based on how they perform in the fitness camp. But as far as our three guest players- Dayal, Yadav and Jadeja- are concerned, there won’t be any problem given their experience.”
Chattisgarh is expected to announce their squad for the upcoming domestic season next month. All three players are expected to don the Chattisgarh jersey for Ranji Trophy, Vijay Hazare Trophy and the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
