India all-rounder Hardik Pandya showcased an all-round show in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 but his son Agastya wasn’t pleased with him getting out in the final over of the innings. Against Will Jacks, Pandya hit two sixes in the final over before he was run out by Jacob Bethell's throw from the deep. As he walked back to the dugout, son Agastya yelled ‘Papa!’ and gestured at him, as if telling him what shot he could’ve gone for.
As Agastya was visibly upset, Hardik’s girlfriend Mahieka Sharma can be seen pacifying him.

After India’s seven-run win, Hardik can be seen interacting with his son and former captain MS Dhoni who was present for the semifinal clash as well.
