Abhishek, who played a crucial role for India in the Asia Cup 2025, has yet to score runs in the T20 World Cup 2026. The southpaw was dismissed on a golden duck in India's opening clash against the USA. After that, he missed the second tie against Namibia due to illness, and after recovering, the destructive opener again got out on a duck against Pakistan and the Netherlands, respectively.
