His impressive performance in the 2025 DPL season earned him an IPL contract worth three crore rupees. In the 2026 DPL auction, South Delhi superstars retained him for 40 lakh rupees, making him the most expensive player. Himmat Singh was retained for 380,000 rupees by the New Delhi Tigers after participating in six IPL matches with Lucknow Super Giants in 2026.
