Maxwell's sensational innings of 120 runs off 55 balls, embellished with 12 fours and 8 sixes, powered Australia's total past 200. Despite Jason Holder taking two wickets, most West Indies bowlers struggled to contain the onslaught.

In pursuit of the challenging target, West Indies lost wickets at regular intervals. While opener Johnson Charles showed promise with a quickfire 24, other batsmen failed to sustain the required momentum. Andre Russell's late burst, scoring 37 off 16 balls, provided some hope, but it wasn't enough. Captain Rovman Powell's valiant 63 off 36 balls went in vain as West Indies fell short, losing both the match and the series by a significant margin.
