India speedster Mohammed Siraj seemed exhausted in the scorching Delhi heat on Day 4 of the second Test match against the West Indies. He collapsed from exhaustion during the second session at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. The incident happened when Hyderabad-born speedster completed a gruelling six-over spell post-lunch, pushing his physical limits in the punishing afternoon sun.
Dinesh Karthik for Mohammed Siraj
Looking visibly drained, Siraj staggered into the Indian dugout and soon slumped onto a chair, prompting immediate medical attention from the team’s support staff. An ice pack was placed on his head and face to lower his body temperature, while the team's physiotherapist massaged his feet in an attempt to relax his muscles. After witnessing the tense moment former India wicketkeeper batter Dinesh Karthik lightened the mood by calling it “king-like treatment” on air.
"What we see right now is the fast bowlers being treated like kings after a hard spell. It's the same case everywhere, by the way. I just need to let viewers know that it's not just on the ground, off the field, but also in the com box. We've got to be careful when you do that with Bish (Ian Bishop, who was also present in the commentary box), though. The ice (needs to be placed) straight on the head to calm him down at times. For Bish and for Siraj," Karthik said.

India vs West Indies 2nd Test Day 4 report
Team India needs 58 runs to win the second Test match against West Indies as they ended day four of the second Test at 63 for one, inching closer to a series whitewash. While chasing 121, India lost opener Yashasvi Jaiswal (8) early, but KL Rahul (25 batting) and Sai Sudharsan (30 batting) steadied the innings to keep the momentum in India's favour.
Earlier in the day, West Indies made a comeback showing resilience through a defiant 79-run partnership for the last wicket between Justin Greaves (50 not out) and Jayden Seales (32).
