WPL 2023, Gujarat Giants Women Full Squad: Complete guide on squad and schedule of Beth Mooney-led GG

Australia's Beth Mooney-led Gujarat Giants (GG) became the most expensive franchise of the Women's Premier League (WPL) which is set to start from March 4. Adani Sportsline Pvt Ltd splurged a whopping amount of Rs 1,289 crore to secure the ownership of the Ahmedabad-based franchise. The Gujarat-based franchise also secured the joint second highest deal in the WPL auction in Australia's star Ashleigh Gardner for a whopping Rs 3.2 crore. Giants then went on to break bank on Gardner's teammate Mooney for Rs 2 crore. As far as Indian players are concerned, GG bagged Harleen Deol (40 Lakhs) and Sneh Rana (75 Lakh). The Giants added a plethora of experience when they opened the doors for the West Indies all-rounder Deandra Dottin in the WPL auction last month.

 

As far as coaching staffs are concerned, Australia's Rachael Haynes will lead the pack of coaches being a head coach while India's legendary cricketer Mithali Raj will be seen in mentor's role in the Gujarat team. Mooney's Gujarat Giants will open their WPL 2023 campaign against Delhi Capitals on March 20 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai.
