In their first English Premier League (EPL) game of the season without superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, Manchester United put on an emphatic display at Old Trafford and schooled Nottingham Forest by a comprehensive margin of 3-0. Marcus Rashford starred for the Red Devils with a goal and excellent overall play while Anthony Martial and Fred were on target on the night. With the team playing good football, Old Trafford was bouncing with delirious fans who did not try to hide their joy.
It was United's first Premier League game of the season without Cristiano Ronaldo and as it appeared, the fans have moved on from the Portuguese superstar and found his replacement. Instead of 'Viva Ronaldo' chants, the Old Trafford faithful sang 'Viva Garnacho' for the 18-year-old Alejandro Garnacho, who has displayed immense potential in limited opportunities this season.
As soon as Garnacho was substituted into the game with 25 minutes remaining on the clock, the Old Trafford rose and sang in unison to show love towards the teenage sensation. Chants of 'Viva Garnacho' were heard loud and clear across Manchester and around the world.

After the game, Man United manager Erik ten Hag wasn't completely happy with his team's performance and urged player to be more ruthless in front of the goal.
"It's what I said in the dressing room, we have to score more goals," ten Hag told Prime Video after the game.
"We created so many chances and it takes us until just before the end to score the third goal. We need to finish this game in an earlier moment. Just after half-time we had two really good chances to finish the game. Life would be more easy.
"There are many games to come, [if you get a third goal then] you can then save energy and it is better for everyone, but also for the progress of the team, we need to be more clinical. We have players who can score.
"You can see Martial and Rashford are goalscorers; Bruno Fernandes scores goals. We have a lot of players who can score, but we have to be ruthless," he added.
