Spain sensation Lamine Yamal has been one of the standout performers at the FIFA World Cup 2026, helping La Roja reach the final against Argentina with a string of eye-catching displays.

Her social media revolves around lifestyle, beauty and lip-sync videos, while she also shares glimpses of her daily life with her followers. During Spain's World Cup journey, Ines has frequently posted messages supporting Lamine Yamal while also attending several of his matches.
There is a two-year age gap between the couple. Ines Garcia Santos celebrated her 21st birthday on July 9, while Yamal turned 19 on July 13, just days before Spain reached the World Cup final.
How did Lamine Yamal and Ines Garcia Santos meet?
Unlike several rumours that surfaced online, Yamal and Ines did not meet through a chance encounter in public.
Speaking in a TikTok video shared during the World Cup, Ines revealed that the pair first connected through social media, dismissing claims that the footballer had paid for her shopping after her credit card was declined.
"You're probably expecting some perfect, crazy love story... Here's the real story. Three, two, one: social media!"
She explained that although fans only began spotting them together publicly earlier this year during a trip to Greece, they had actually known each other for much longer.
According to Ines, the two had been talking for several months before officially beginning their relationship and have been together "a lot longer than people think."
Before dating Ines Garcia Santos, Lamine Yamal was reportedly in a relationship with Argentinian singer Nicki Nicole between August and November 2025.
