Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in signing Paris-Saint Germain (PSG) star Bardley Barcola. The French winger's contract extension talks have not progressed, and there is uncertainty regarding his future.
Liverpool and Arsenal's interest in Bradley Barcola
Barcola joined PSG from Olympique Lyon in the year of 2023, penning a five-year deal. The Parisians have tried to offer him a new contract, but talks have not progressed as per expectations. As per Le10Sport, the winger's representatives have rejected an offer with a big salary increase.
According to the report, Arsenal and Liverpool are monitoring Barcola's situation and could consider signing him next season. He was associated with a move away from Paris last summer as well, but ended up staying at the club. He currently competes with the likes of Desire Doue and Khvicha Kvarataskhelia for his position in the side.
Barcola's stats for PSG
In 121 games for PSG, Barcola managed to amass 31 goals and 33 assists in 121 games for PSG. He played a key role as they won the domestic treble, the UEFA Champions League, and the UEFA Super Cup last season.
Arsenal and Liverpool, meanwhile, are looking to strengthen their attack despite their recent editions. The Gunners have been looking to sign a left winger, while the Red could be looking for a possible replacement for Mohamed Salah.
