Arsenal are 14 points ahead of the Reds, coming from a 3-2 win against Bournemouth. Liverpool, on the other hand, stands 4th in the EPL following their 2-2 draw against Fulham in their most recent match. Arne Slot’s side has lost only two games in their last 13 league and cup games. Additionally, ahead of entering the game against Arsenal, they are unbeaten in nine games in all their competitions.

Arsenal injury report: Latest on Mikel Arteta’s PL clash vs Liverpool

Cristhian Mosquera, Riccardo Calafiori, and Max Downman are confirmed to be sidelined on Thursday, January 8 (Friday, January 9 IST) in Arsenal’s Week 21 Premier League clash against Liverpool. 

Mosquera is out following an ankle injury, while Calafiori has been ruled out as he recovers from a muscle injury. Both of them are expected to return mid-January. Downman will not play due to an ankle issue and will return in early February.  

Declan Rice sustained a knee injury and missed Arsenal’s clash against Aston Villa. The English midfielder was a doubt for their match against Bournemouth, but he started and scored a brace in the second half and powered the side to continue thier dominace.
