Barcelona are preparing their plans for the upcoming summer transfer window, as the Catalan club are considering to permanently sign the Al-Hilal loanee, Joao Cancelo after Sunday's 1-0 win over Rayo Vallecano in a LaLiga clash at the Camp Nou.
Hansi Flick approves Joao Cancelo's signing
The Portuguese defender arrived at Camp Nou for his second loan stint from Al-Hilal during the January transfer window this year. He mostly played as a substitution, but got success in making an impact with his performances.
As per a report from Diario Sport, Flick has decided to keep Cancelo beyond his loan spell at Barca. Although, the Portuguese star still has one year left on his contract with Al-Hilal.
Joao Cancelo's curious situation
The Spanish club is hoping that Cancelo terminates his contract with Al-Hilal to crack a free transfer, amid Barca's never ending financial troubles.
Joao Cancelo always expressed his love and admiration for Barcelona and surely will look for a solution to have a permanent stay at the Catalan club.
The report from Diario Sport further adds that Barcelona are aiming to offer a two-year contract at Camp Nou.
