Barça eye potential quarter-final clash with Atlético Madrid.

Barcelona secured a dominating 7-2 win against Newcastle United in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie at Camp Nou on Wednesday. With this win, Barcelona secured a berth for the quarter-final stage of the tournament.

After the game, Barca boss, Hansi Flick opened up on the win against the English club, calling it a "crazy game". The Spanish club looked a bit confused in the first half, but LaLiga giants completely dominated their English rivals and sealed a masterclass win in the second half.

Hansi Flick admitted that Barcelona looked uncomfortable in the first half, but things took a turn in the second half, as they seemed good with the ball control.

“It was a crazy game. I think we weren’t sharp in the first half, but we were much better in the second. We were able to control the ball. The third goal gave us the chance to get back into the game," said Hansi Flick.

"In the first half we played too many direct balls in attack. We lost possession too often. This opponent has a lot of speed and is very good in transition. We talked about controlling them more in the second half and playing better in that low block," Hansi Flick concluded.
